    Unit 8 When is your birthday?一、单元教材分析本单元主要学习日期的表达方式。本单元主要围绕“谈论日期”这一话题开展听、说、读和写 的学习活动,学习序数词的构成以及运用序数词表示日期的方法;学会运用when引导的特殊疑 问句询问日期;通过学习能掌握英语表达年、月、日的单词和句型,能够熟练地谈论各种有关日期 的话题。此外,还要学习名词所有格('s所有格)的构成和使用;学习询问表达年龄的句型。能 够询问及表达一些常见的节日的日期。二、单元学情分析本单元的主题是询问和谈论日期,围绕这一主题进行一系列的交际活动,使学生掌握日期的表 达法,正确使用when引导的特殊疑问句对日期进行询问。在学习日期的表达法时要先学习序数 词的构成,学生在以前的课程里已经学习了基数词,对于两种数词之间的区别一定会令学生感到头 痛,教师要引导学生运用对比的方法,找出构成规律,总结特殊变化,对比强化记忆。三、单元教学建议采用自主学习、小组合作探究、Classifying , Contrasting和Role一playing的学习策略, 利用教学图片、幻灯片、实物(大挂历、日历)或制作课件(反映月份特征,课内外活动)等 来展开课堂教学、Pairwork问答式的口语交际活动或游戏等小组活动,进行“询问和谈论日期” 的课堂教学和练习。本单元的教学法建议:语音教学让学生进行模仿操练;词汇教学采取 情景介绍或演示对比的方式进行教学,让学生在情境中操练、理解含义.并学会运用;口语教学一 采取pairwork问答式的口语交际活动或游戏等小组活动互相操练;听力教学采取图文配对和 对话选择的方式;写作教学以填词、回答问题、写简单的短文为主;语法教学总结规律、 抓住特征、模仿操练。Section B 2 (3a-Self check) 一、教学目标:1.语言知识目标:1)复习序数词的构成规则,并能运用序数词来正确表达日期。2) 了解一些常见节日的日期,并能熟练地询问及回答一些常见节日的日期。3)练习写作便条,邀请朋友参加自己(学校)的某项活动。2.情感态度价值观目标:二、教学重难点.教学重点:1)了解一些常见节日的日期,并能熟练地询问及回答一些常见节日的日期。2)练习写作便条,邀请朋友参加自己(学校)的某项活动。1 .教学难点:通过不同形式的写作训练来练习写作便条,指导学生能熟练地写作便条来邀请朋友参加自己(学 校)的某项活动。三、教学过程I .
