Whether we notice it or not, our child is a little reflection of ourselves. They grow up looking more and more like us. They even have similar personalities and hobbies. And in some cases, the standard of choosing a good friend.     One day, my 10-year-old Jane said, "Mom, I made a new friend at school today. Can she come over tomorrow?" Her words made me extremely happy, because Jane was a shy girl and I wanted her to make some friends to bring her out of her shell.     "Sure, honey,  that sounds great," I said, thinking back to my own childhoodbest friend, Susan. We lived across the street from each other in Washington, Heights, New York. We met at the age of 10, too. Like my daughter, I was shy and had trouble making friends. But Susan drew me out. She was one of the friendliest people in school, with shiny black hair and a mile-wide smile. Thanks to Susan, I was happy every day.   In senior high school, Susan went on a trip to Florida. This was the first time we had to be away from each other for a few days. "I'll be back soon and I will write to you as soon as I arrive," She told me. But I didn't get her phone call nor receive any mail from her. Soon, my family moved to New Jersey, making my hope of seeing Susan impossible.     whenever I thought of her, tears came into my eyes.    The next day Jane brought her new friend home. "Hi, Mrs. Smith," the little girl said. Her hair was so shiny and black and she gave me a big smile. "My name is Jo. My mom will pick me up two hours later."    I was puzzled because my daughter's new friend looked so familiar. Two hours passed really quickly and there was a knock on the door. 下水作文一 l was puzzled because my daughters new friend looked so familiar. It was not just her shiny, black hair but her mild-wide smile that puzzled me so much. Again, there rang a bell with me about my friend Susan. “What a lovely angel sent from heaven!” l thought to myself. “Mom, Jo is very popular in our class and she is absolutely a good dancer!” Jane exclaimed with thrills and enthusiastically invited Jo to dance. Without the slightest hesitation, Jo agreed readily and danced wholeheartedly for us. Rounds of applause echoed in the air. (87词)Two hours passed really quickly, and there was a knock on the door. “It must be my mom. She is here to pick me up!” Jo said to me smilingly. As l opened the door, l could hardly believe my eyes. It was exactly my friend Susan! For a split second, we were stunned with disbelief, not able to squeeze out a single word. With tears of joy streaming down our cheeks, we hugged each other tightly.  At the sight of this, my daughter Jane couldnt help throwing herself to Jos arms, grinning, “No wonder we hit it off! What a coincidence!”(89词) 下水作文二 I was puzzled because my daughter's new friend looked so familiar. And when I got to her, a feeling of friendliness came flooding out of nowhere. I greeted her warmly, meanwhile, with my thoughts wandering. Her black shiny hair, her face and the brilliant smile were just like Susan's. Their resemblance was breathtaking. Driven by my strong curiosity, I couldn't help asking Jo her family members. To my great astonishment, she was actually Susan's daughter. What a coincidence! Totally wild with joy, I held this lovely girl inmy arms tightly as if I had found back something precious. The whole house was overflowing with our delightful talk andlaughter. (90 words)  Two hours passed really quickly, and there was a knock on the door. "It must be my mom." Jo exclaimed joyfully. Nervously, I stepped forward and twisted the doorknob. "Hi." I could feel myheart pounding violently. Susan recognized me in a flash, her eyes widening with great surprise. "Emily? It's really been a long time! You know how much I have missed you!" Both of us could see the tears shimmering in each other's eyes. Needless to say anything, a hug was enough to bring us together again.(74 words) 下水作文I was puzzled because my daughter's new friend looked so familiar. Seeing her, I couldn't believe my eyes because she took after Susan so much. The lovely little girl made me think of my friend Susan. I was lost in thought soon. “Mom, Mom” my daughter asked me, taking my hand.“Oh, dear, Jo, welcome to my house and I'm glad you made friends with my daughter.”Then I said to mydaughter, “Jane, please take Jo tothe garden. I have prepared some fruits there for you both.”The two girls rushed towards the garden hand in hand, talking andlaughing.  Standing in front of the window and looking at them, I smiled with delight. (109 words) Two hours passed really quickly and there wasa knock on the door. I was hurried to answer the door. Instantly I opened the door, a strange but familiar face caught my eyes. It was the lady who was my best friend, Susan. She looked at me with surprised expression.“Dear” We shouted out almost at the same time. We were so excited that we hugged each other. At this point, my daughter and her friend came into the living room.“ Do you know each other?” My daughter asked doubtfully. We both nodded and said “we were the best friends 20 years ago.” I invited Susan to stay at my house for dinner, and she accepted it happily. Therefore, all of us had a good time. 官方范文I was puzzled because my daughter's new friend looked so familiar. But I was sure that I had never met Jo before. She told me that her family just moved from Los Angeles, which puzzled me even more because I had never been to Los Angeles and we had no relatives living in Los Angeles either. I convinced myself that it was only my imagination. The two girls got on very well and they giggled from time to time. I watched them play and felt so happy for my daughter from the bottom of my heart. Two hours passed really quickly and there was a knock on the door. It was Jo's mom coming to pick her up later that afternoon. On seeing her face, I was shocked."Judy", she cried. "It's me, Susan." We embraced each other. It turned out that her father's company sent her father to Los Angeles before they settled in Florida. She tried calling me later but we had moved. The two little girls were happy to see their mothers become good friends at once before we told them our story, with happy tears rolling down our cheeks.
