When morning came, they pretended(假装) they knew nothing.Father: Today we are going deep into the forest to cut some wood. Get your things. Here is some bread. Why did you stay here Go to your room quickly.Narrator: But the stepmother was very angry. She locked the children in their room. Mother: Well take them deeper into the forest this time, theyll never find their way out!Father: Please! Dont make me do this. How can leave my children to dieMother: What Do you want us all to starve(饿死)Father: Of course not.Mother: Then shut up.Gretel: Im scared.Hansel: Shhh we are locked and I cant pick up some stones.
