Unit 2 Morals and Virtues子主题2：平凡人物的美德与社会责任Period 1 Listening and Talking一、教学内容分析本节课是听说课，话题是“谈论友善的重要性”。听力文本介绍了什么是“Pay It Forward"活动，讲述了该活动背后爱心传递的故事以及现实生活中发生的爱心传递的故 事，探讨了表达友善及给予帮助的对象的问题，这些对象不应该只是熟悉的、亲近的人, 还应当包括陌生人。除了培养学生的听说技能之外，这一板块渗透了人生观和道德观的 培养。学生通过听力材料中的故事，能够意识到哪怕只是一次偶然的帮助，也会给他人 带来温暖，更会让自己的内心丰富与满足，并影响他人进而创造更美好的社会氛围。这 一板块与Workbook中读写课的故事一脉相承，共同宣传每一个公民都可以在日常生活 中帮助他人、奉献爱心，为我们的社区和社会贡献自己的力量。二、语篇分析What听力内容是受访嘉宾Kevin作为主讲人介绍了“paying it forward”活动的概念，借助于 一首歌曲背后的故事及生活中的一个真实故事阐述“paying it forward”的灵感来源。歌曲 "The Chain of Love"中的故事梗概为一位男士帮助了一位汽车抛锚的陌生女士，该女 士想要给他酬劳，男士拒绝了酬金，但要求女士把这份善意施予其他的陌生人。该女士 来到一家咖啡馆，看到女服务员怀孕且很辛苦。该女士付账离开时把找的零钱留给了服 务员，同时留下便条希望女服务员继续将爱心传递下去。故事的结尾具有戏剧性，咖啡 馆的女服务员是修理抛锚汽车的男士的妻子。另一个故事是有关买咖啡的故事，一位女 士为后面顾客预先支付了咖啡的费用，后一个顾客继续为下一个顾客预先支付咖啡费 用，这样的一个爱心链持续了好几个小时，多达400人加入了这个爱心链。这样的故事 在我们的实际生活之中真实发生着，温暖和震撼着自己和他人，因此我们所有人都可以 加入到“paying it forward”活动之中，用我们的爱心照亮他人。Why本单元前一小主题借助林巧稚的故事帮助学生反思遭遇道德困境时和在人生道路中 应如何做出选择，选材为名人的故事。本板块选取了普通人的故事作为素材，讲述发生 在我们身边的故事，帮助学生发现普通人身上闪闪发光的品质和美德，意识到生活中伸 出自己的援助之手既可以温暖别人也可以照亮自己，进而帮助学生形成正确的人生观和 道德观。How从篇章结构来看，听力文本为一段访谈对话，主持人提出“paying it forward”活动的 相关问题，嘉宾通过讲述两个故事解释“paying it forward”活动的灵感来源及活动开展 的意义，并最终发出倡议，号召所有人加入这样的爱心传递活动之中，在我们的日常生 活中伸出援助之手，让这个世界变得更加美好。从文本语言来看，受访嘉宾在介绍“Chain of Love”中非人物经历的故事梗概时用了 一般现在时，在讲述真实的买咖啡故事时用了一般过去时。两则故事都是有时间线索， 因此都使用了像“then”，“later"，“finally”这些时间连接词以及“when”引导的状语从 句来描述故事的情节，还使用了 “but”，“instead”转折词增添故事的起伏感，另外还通 过使用现在分词做状语及定语从句使故事的情节更加丰富，更有画面感，还有受访嘉宾 在讲述故事时的情感投入和情感丰富的语调也值得关注。这些语言特点对于学生口头讲 述自己的感人故事有很大的作用。三、学情分析已有基础： 已有知识：对于“道德与美德”以及“道德困境” “人生抉择”有了一定的思考及 判定，有较好的道德观念。 已有能力：具备通过听力活动获取文本基本信息并进行复述的能力，以及结对或以 小组为单位进行讨论，发表个人观点的能力。存在问题： 学生缺乏讲述亲身经历或耳闻的故事的训练，在讲述故事时，难以吸引人。四、教学目标通过本课时的学习，学生能够：1 .获取和梳理听力材料中爱心故事的基本情节；2 .讨论与阐述爱心故事传达的目的及意义；3 .分享自己经历或耳闻目睹的爱心故事。五、教学重难点【重点】1 .获取和梳理听力材料中爱心故事的基本情节;2 .讨论与阐述爱心故事传达的目的及意义。分享自己经历或耳闻目睹的爱心故事。六、教学活动设计环节一：创设情境，导入话题，激活已知(5 mins)教师播放视频，学生观看视频并回答相关问题，进而围绕本课主题进行自由讨论。教学活动1.
