Instructional design课题外研社必修一年级高一设计主题Unit5 Into the wild一、Analysis of materialThe material come from Book1 Unit5, whose thematic content is human and nature-the relationship between human and animal. My lesson is the first period of the unit, and it introduce the migration of the monarch butterfly.The text is an expository article. There are five paragraphs, which can be divided into 3 parts: Part1(para1-2) research background, Part2(para3-4) research finding, Part3(para5) research significance.The text aims to help Ss to know the migration of the monarch butterfly, the influence of human activities and the solution to monarchs survival. After that, Ss can form the concept of sustainable development and human can live harmony with animals.二、Analysis of studentsMy Ss come from senior 1, so they study in high spirits. They have accumulated some useful works and expressions, so they can understand the detail information about the migration of the monarch. Besides, they are interested in animals.However, My Ss are shy to express their opinion confidently. They are short of the ability of critical thinking and logical thinking.
