Background information Lesson 5 Making Public Addressing AnnouncementPublic Addressing Announcement简称P.A. Announcement。国际邮轮上通常有至少2套船内公众广播系统。一部在驾驶台,另一部就在前台。前台接待员出于服务工作的需要会经常做一些不同内容的船内广播。有些广播的内容是固定的,比如:俱乐部开门,证件发放等等。这时邮轮公司通常将广播录制下来,需要时直接播放即可。但有些广播的内容是需要根据情形,来进行即兴广播的,比如:游戏召集、促销、表演公告等等。在做这种广播前一定先要组织好语言,并写在纸上以免忘词。在进行广播时一定不要紧张,吐字清晰,语速放慢,必要时可重复一遍内容。任何广播都会有很大的影响范围,所以按照邮轮上的规定,在广播前必须得到上级批准才能进行。另外,一些先进的P.A. Announcement系统,在广播进行的时候,邮轮上的相关区域内,所有电视节目和娱乐音响设备都会自动暂停,以便人们能够听清广播喇叭里的广播内容。Unit 2 Lesson 1 Telephone Operator在国际邮轮上电话总机话务员的工作,主要分为外部电话和内部电话服务。各邮轮公司根据邮轮运营的需要可以设置专职的话务员,也可以由前厅部人员轮流负责。话务员主要操作的设备叫做PABX,即“程控交换机”。其外接电话信号通常分为3种:邮轮靠岸后,采用有线信号;邮轮在离岸边不远时,采用无线信号;邮轮在海上时,采用卫星通讯信号。现在更先进的邮轮上,对总机设备更是采用全电脑控制,使得操作更简单方便。话务员的工作主要有接听和转接各种外线和内线电话、问询、留言、叫醒、传呼等。II.
