(连成 宾语从句)She doesn,t know the maths exam.解析:1. what (这句话的谓语动词know是个及物动词,后面肯 定要有宾语。再看后面有主语(your father),有谓语动词(does), 说明know后面是个句子做宾语,从而可知空上应填一个连接词。又 依据宾语从句的谓语动词(does)也是个及物动词,可知后面应有一 个宾语,所以推断出这个连词应是个连接代词。依据句意我想知道 你父亲是干什么的可知应填whato)2. why/ where (用上述方法先推断出此空后是个宾语从句,缺 连接词。由于宾语从句中主语、谓语动词、宾语和地点状语都全,可 推断出句中少其他状语,因此须填一个连接副词。再依据所给的不完 整句子试着译出其中文意思:(1)你能告知我他们昨天下午为什么打竞赛吗?(2)你能告知我他们昨天下午在哪里打竞赛吗?所以填Why 或 where 都对。)3. if / whether, Tom, passed (从句的原始形式 是个一般疑问句,连词用if / whethero疑问句语序改为陈述句语 序,所以助动词did去掉,pass改为passed以保持原句过去时的时 态。)例 3 When you the classroom?
