Lesson 36教学目标:1 .通过学习本课,能够掌握并运用以下词汇:weather, sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy;2 .了解四季的变化以及对应的天气情况,提高学生的天气预报能力;3 .学会动词短语: happen to, take place, come out/ appear, fall down, 掌握它们的用法并能够进行简单的句型转换。教学重点:通过四季的介绍,让学生了解不同季节的天气情况,为天气预报打基础。教学难点:1 .通过话题让学生运用英语进行天气预报;2 .解释动词短语的用法。教学准备:课件,图片,白板,笔。教学过程:Step 1:Warm up1. Greet students, ask them how they are feeling today and what the weather is like outside。2. Review the key vocabulary learned in the previous lessons, by asking the students to name the seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.Step 2: Presentation1. Show pictures of different types of weather such as sunny, cloudy, rainy and snowy. Ask the students if they know each type of weather and revise the vocabulary if necessary.2. Explain the verbs uhappen to” , atake place” , “come out/appearv and ufall down” to the students and give examples of how to use them.For example: "It happens to rain a lot in autumnv , “The leaves fall down from the trees in autumn” .3. Show the students pictures of the different seasons and explain the different types of weather that occur during each season.4. Ask students to describe the weather in their favorite season using the vocabulary they have learned.Step 3: Practice1 .Divide the class into groups of three or four students.2 . Assign a season to each group and have them create a short weather report for that season. Encourage them to use the verbs and vocabulary they have learned.3 .Have each group present their weather report to the class.Step 4: Production1. Play a game where the teacher describes a season and students must name the corresponding types of weather.2. Homework: Ask the students to write a short paragraph describing their favorite season, including the types of weather that occur during that season.教学反思本节课通过介绍不同季节的天气情况,为天气预报打基础,提高学生英语表达 能力。在教学过程中,我通过启发式提问、图片展示、小组合作等多种形式提高教 学效率,让学生轻松掌握活用动词短语和天气相关词汇的能力。同时游戏互动环节 也增加了课堂趣味性,提高了学生的听说能力。在教学结束后,留给学生足够的练 习时间,让学生在家里继续进行巩固练习。
