Unit 3 Who That Man?(第二课时)一、教材依据新陕旅版小学英语六年级下册,第三单元(Who飞that man ?)第二课时(PartA, Lefs talk) o二、设计思路本单元以Who's that man?为话题,以介绍中国杰出人物为主要话题的教学内 容。本课时主要围绕Part A Lefs talk中的一篇以Li Ling(李灵)和Wang Wanqing(王万青)的人物事迹展开,其中涉及到了提问职业以及学生在六年级上 册所接触到的一般过去时。所选话题易于引发学生用英语进行会话交流,完成听、 说、读、写、译等教学活动。通过对整个单元的教学内容进行梳理,我将“激发 兴趣,创设情景,强化能力,实现目标”作为本课的设计导向,充分利用课堂活 动和教学多媒体,充分发挥学生的主体作用和教师的主导作用,实现优质高效的 课堂教学。三、教学目标1 .掌握下列短语和句型:set up, hope school, in the past, on the grassland, be helpful to, what does he/she do?2 .能流利地朗读课文内容并能用一些单词短语描述人物。3 .能简短地仿写一篇英文人物传记。四、教学重点1 .能学会并熟练正确运用What does he/she do?2.能较为流利地朗读对话内容。五、教学难点能学会并熟练正确运用What does he/she do?,同时能掌握同义句What is he/she?六、教学准备教师准备:(1) Let,stalk部分的希沃互动教学课件。(2)对话内容的卡片七、教学过程()课程导入(leading in)1 .Warming Up:用带音乐的手指操Finger Family和学生一起做PR,让学生浸入在 英语课堂的气氛中。2 .出示学习目标:Look at the learning aims.学习 目标:(1)掌握下列短语:set up, a hope school, in the past, on the grassland(2)熟练掌握过去式,能较流利的朗读课文并进行简单的对话(3)能写一些简单的人物传记。3 .Reviewing the expressions by playing games游戏:一个个展示上节课所学短语,让学生记住短语顺序,并用对应的图片排序。同时用句型:What is he/she?复习句型和职业的单词T :What is he/she?. Sts: He/ She is .Boys and girls, In this class wc will get to know a young womanplease look at her picture, do you know her? She is great.()新课展示活动及过程设计(presentation)I .新课展示 Part A Lefs talk1 .boys and girls, In this class we will get to know a young woman please look at her picture, do you know her? She is great.叫一些学生说说对 Li Ling的了解,多鼓励他们开口说,然后展示有关李灵的问题:1 1) Who *s the young woman?(2) What is she?(3)What did she do?利用课件播放3遍对话,要求学生听完对话后找出问题答案2 .让学生用关键词和短语复述对话,老师板书这些关键的短语,并让学生以此为根据补全对话。Boys and girls, now lefs look at this pic, Can you guess Who he is?展示王万青的图片并让学生从图片中的几个人中猜哪位是王万青,并告诉大家原 因,同时播放对话的内容3遍,让学生边听边验证刚才的猜测。4 .出示课件,让学生根据听到的内容判断,进行tick or cross。5 .老师发给学生印有对话的纸,对话不完整,这时老师放音乐把对话内容唱出 来,学生认真听老师唱的内容并补全对话所缺的部分。完成后,可引导学生和老 师一起来唱对话部分,加深对对话的理解。II. Time for fun.通过游戏来练习句型 What does he/she do? She/He is aIll.HomeworkWrite a short article to depict someone that is familiar to the students, in which students can tell What he/she likes doing, what his/her hobbies are, what he/she would like for lunch/supper and the like.
