The RHD governor has a large controlling force, despite its compac
8、t size.2. As the hydraulic fluid is contained in the governor, piping and sub-tank installation are unnecessary when installing the governor on the engine.3. As the power piston utilizes a differential system, the operating force is uniform. Moreover, it is not necessary to install a return spring i
9、n the fuel control linkage. When play in the linkage system is excessive, however, it is necessary to install a spring at the end of the system to absorb this play.4. The governor is able to rotate in either direction, and therefore it can be used without modification on engines which rotate in the
10、reverse direction.5. Because the normal operating speed is low, governor endurance is high, and gearing is simple when installing the governor on low and intermediate speed engines.6. The governor has a speed droop mechanism and a compensator mechanism, enabling it to be easily and freely adjusted.T
11、he adjustment range is very wide, enabling governor use on a wide range of engines. The governor can also be used as an isochronous governor with 0% speed droop.7. The governor bodys high tensile aluminum alloy casting makes it extremely lightweight.8. The governor can be equipped with a governor mo
12、tor, a pneumatic controller and a hydraulic controller.9. RHD6 and RHD10 governors are interchangeable. For example, if a higher pressure injection system is required or if the governors control force is insufficient to cope with the demand for increased engine output, decreased fuel consumption or
13、the use of lower quality fuel oil, then the RHDIO can replace the RHD6.10. The governor is equipped with a standardized piping connection to enable the installation of an auxiliary starting booster.11. Of the RHD10 governors main components, 80% are identical to those of the RHD6. Almost 100% of the

18、on. The parts adjacent to the power piston also differ.Note:1. The method of connecting fuel linkages and the amount of corresponding resistance differ depending on the size of the applicable engine and the size and number of the injection pumps.Consequently, engines with little friction loss can be
19、 used in high output engineapplications and, conversely, engines with large friction loss can only be used in applications equal to or less than those specified above.2. Simply because the governor has surplus control force does not necessarily mean that stable operation can be ensured.In order to e
20、nsure stable operation and to prevent the speed from exceeding the necessary speed, the inertia of the engine and the drive system should be as large as possible.
