2、故事,并能够熟练复述出来。4、能够看懂常见的英文指示图标。5、通过本节课的学习,培养学生关注标示,讨论标示,做遵守公共法规和秩序的社会公民。三教学重难点1、能够在日常生活中熟知并能用英语说出常见的英语标示。2、学生能够设计并制作公共标示,学以致用,提高公民意识。四教学方法 情境法及任务教学法五课前准备 光盘单词卡片,课文图片,PPT六教学过程:Step 1: Warm-up1. 话题导人教师可以通过简笔画或图片形式呈现若干公共标识,和学生进行问答,引出单元话题。如:1)Whats this?2)What does it tell us?3)Where can you see this?4)Wh
3、at would you do if you see this?2. 歌曲导入教师利用多媒体播放牛津小学英语6A Unit 11中的歌曲The signs in the park, 然后和学生进行问答活动,引出本单元的话题。如:T: Where are the children?S1: Theyre in the park.T: What can you see in the park?Ss: I can see some signs.T: Do you understand them?Ss: Yes.T: Is it right if I walk on the grass?Ss: No.T
4、: Is it right if I leavemy rubbish on the grass?Ss: No.T: So these signs tell us we cant walk on the grass and we cant litter in the park.3. 游戏导入教师可利用课件向学生出示一些公共标识,并附相应的行为图片,要求学生判断 行为是否与标识相符,相符的用Yes! Yes! Yes! 来回应,不相符的用No! No! No!来回应,从而让学生理解公共标识的作用和含义。如:Step 2: Presentation1. 画画说说,教授目标词汇和新句型教师可继续以画简
5、笔画的方式,教授本单元的目标词汇No eating or drinking. No littering. No parking和No smoking.如: T: (出示禁止饮食标识)Look at this sign. What can you see?S:Theres a hamburger and a cup of drink.T: Can you eat or drink when you see this sign?S:No, we cant.T: Right. The sign means we cant eat or drink here. No eating or drinkin
6、g.S: No eating or no drinking.T: Where can we find this sign?S1: We can find it in the museum/in the library/on the metro.T: (出示禁止乱丢垃圾标识)What can you see on this sign?S: I can see a hand and some paper.T: Where can you find this sign?S: We can find it in the park.T: Can you leave your rubbish in the

No littering.S: No littering.2. 利用视频,教授目标词汇和新句型教师可以利用视频影像呈现设有Danger! 标识的一段公路和设有湿滑地面标识的百货公司,教授目标词汇Danger! 和Wet floor. 如:T: Heres a sign. Can we drive fast when we see this sign?S: No.T: Right. This sign means theres danger. Danger!
8、We should be careful.S: Danger.T: Where do we usually find this sign?S: On the road/on the highway/on the hill/by the river.T: Now heres a sign on the floor. What can you see on the sign?S1: Theres some water on the floor.S2: A man slips.T: Right. This sign means the floor is wet. Wet floor.S: Wet f
9、loor.3. 问答活动,操练新句型教师呈现公共标识图片,和学生进行问答活动,要求学先认读标识,再说出标识的含义,以检测学生对标识的理解,并操练句型What does it mean? 和It means教师可根据学生的实际情况,拓展一些和学生日常生活关系紧密的公共标识。教师也可以将学生分组,用比赛的形成操作此活动。如:T: (出示禁止吸烟标识) What sign is this?S: No smoking. T: What does it mean?S: It means we cantsmoke.4. 小组活动,分享信息教师安排学生小组活动,分享自己课前准备的标识。学生之间可以就标识互相
10、提 问;教师可以巡视课堂,及时提供语言帮助。 5. 课文导人教师呈现四幅图片,要求学生观察其中呈现的场所和公共标识,猜猜故事大意。教师可以设置下列问题引导学生观察图片和讨论。1)Where are they in picture 1/2/3/4?2)What does the sign mean?6. 听录音,理解课文大意 教师播放课文录音或动画,要求学生理解课文大意。教师可以设计相应的听力任务和提供更多的问题,以检测学生是否获取课文中的关键信息。如:What signs are they talking about?
