Have a par do some reading对于 was, did, went这三个过去式，要和其他动词的过去式一并讲解；动词的过去式可分为三类： be 动词的过去式，规章动词的过去式，不规章动词的过去式；这节课可着重讲解规章动词和 be 动词的过去式；不规章动词的过去式可放在后面讲；11 / 10规章动词的过去式有以下四种构成方式：一、一般情形下在动词词尾加ed, 如： played, called, ne

7、eded, wanted二、词尾是 e 的动词加 d；如：三、以一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节单词，应双写这个辅音字母加ed；如： 四、以辅音字母 y 加结尾的动词，先将y 变成 i，再加 ed；动词 be 的过去式是： am/is- was ； are-were. 主语是 I, he, she, it 以及相当于第三人称单数的动词，谓语动词用was；假如主语是you, they, we 以及复数名词，谓语动词一律用were ；在讲构成方式的同时讲解动词过去式的发音；Step 3.
