After Earnshaw died, Hindley becomes the leader of the family and he regards Heathcliff as servant, so Heathcliff is insulted and ill-tre

Mr.Edgar the next door often visits Wuthering Heights to pursue Catherine and she also shows love to him, too. When she agrees to marry Edgar, Heathcliff goes away with anger.
