Section A, Grade 8.My teaching ideas consist of 6 parts: Teaching Materials, Teaching Methods, Learning Strategies, Teaching Procedure, Blackboard L
2、ayout, and Teaching Evaluation.Lets come to part one-Teaching Materials. It includes Status and Functions, Teaching Contents and Teaching Aims.Firstly, Status and Functions. The textbook Go for it” is close to students daily life, and emphasizes intergrated skills of English. This book pays more att
3、ention to languages communicative functions, students are working at the level of realistic communication, not just at the level of vocabulary and sentence patterns.Secondly, Teaching Contents. This uint talks about how to make requests politely in English and enable students to answer the requests.
4、 Thirdly, Teaching Aims. According to the Nationl English Curriculum, it contains knowledge aims, ability aims and affection aims. For knowledge aims, students will learn to use the key and difficult points in my class. For ability aims, the students are able to improve their listening and speaking
5、ability, and they can develop their cooperate and competitive spirit. For affection aims, I will guide the students to keep civilized behaviors and form a good habit.As far as Teaching methods is concerned, I will mainly use communicative teaching method and task-based teaching method. Various pairw
6、orks and tasks will be designed for the students to master appropriate functional patterns. Besides, I will use audio-visual teaching method, an interesting video will be played for the students.Lets move to part 3-Learning Strategies. As we know, developing the effective Learning Strategies is one
7、of the most important parts of the National English curriculum, and the Congnitive Strategies, Self-management Strategies, Communicative Strategies, and Resource Strategies are benificial for students learning. In my class , I will encourage students to master these Learning Strategies, and encourag
8、e them to use them.Weve finally come to the most important part-Teaching Procedure. Teaching Procedure is made up of four steps: warm-up, pre-task, task-cycle, and homework. First, warm-up. It is said: Well began is half done. So in this step, I will begin my class an interesting video, which is mad
9、e by myself. Here I use audio-visual teaching method, it will arouse ss great interests and curiosity. Further more, as the plot comes from the story that happens around the ss, they will pay more attention to my next discussion: If you are in this kind of situation, what would you do? and How to ma
10、ke requests politely in English? After the discussion, I will let the ss share the ideas of their group to the whole class. In this way, I can lead the ss to the new topic of section A; meanwhile, ss can exchange their ideas with each other.Second, pre-task. In this step, I will design a research: w
