He was a docter five years ago. （2）表示过去经常反复发生的动作。 I often played basketball after school when I was in high school. （3）评价已故的历史人物或名人时，常用一般过去时。 Lei Feng was a good example.B. 谓语构成：主语+was/were+其他. 主语+did+其他. 动词变过去式规则

2、变化的基本原则：（1） 一般在动词原形末尾加-ed. work-worked, clean-cleaned, walk-walked（2） 以-e结尾的动词在词尾加-d.live-lived, change-changed,practice-practiced（3） 末尾只有一个辅音字母的重读闭音节动词，双写辅音字母再加-ed.stop-stopped,（4） 以辅音字母+y结尾的，把y变成i再加-ed.cry-cried,carry-carried,study-studied不规则变化，需要强记。但其内部也有一定的规律。 a.有a是aught,无a是ought:bring-brought,b
