8、MBERSHIP APPLICATION APRIL 2009 PRICINGThe Undersigned Applies to Wildfire Golf Club (the “Club”) for an Equity Membership (“Membership”).Jeff Mills, Director of Golf It is with great pleasure that Wildfire announce the appointment of Jeff Mills to Director of Golf. Jeff joined the Wildfire team as
9、the new Associate Professional in 2007. The 36-year-old brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep appreciation for the traditions of the game with him. Jeff comes to Wildfire from one of Canadas leading private Country Clubs, London Hunt & Curling Club, which dates back to 1885. He joined London Hunt
10、as an Assistant Professional in 1999 and held an Associate Professional position from 2000 through 2006. Jeff will work in the Pro Shop, organize member events, and work with Juniors and adults to improve their games. He grew up in Belleville and played his junior golf at the Bay of Quinte CC later
11、attending Jacksonville University in Florida on a golf scholarship from 1990-94, where he was team Captain for the last three years. Jeff was selected to the All-Conference team in 1993 and 1994 and acted as an Assistant Coach dur-ing his final semester. In the fall of 1995, Jeff qualified for the C
12、anadian Tour, where he played two full seasons. Scott McInroy, Associate Golf ProfessionalIt is with great pleasure that we introduce our new Associate Golf Professional, Scott McInroy. Scott has been a member of the CPGA for four years. He developed a love for the golf business while working at the
13、 Bay of Quinte Country Club in Belleville, Ontario. In 2006, he became a member of the professional staff at Timber Ridge Golf Course in Brighton after finishing second place in his Playing Ability Test; shoot-ing an even par score of 144 for the tournament. Scott worked at Timber Ridge for three ye
14、ars before moving into his new Associate Professional position here at Wildfire Golf Club.In June 2008, Scott graduated from the Professional Golf Management program at Humber College with Honours in the program, finishing in the top 2% of his graduating class. This past fall, Scott completed the CP
15、GA apprenticeship program as he successfully passed his Class “A” examination in November.To add to his strong credentials, Scott has attended several teaching summits including one by famous Golf Digest instructor, Hank Haney. Scott has developed a strong clientele in his career ranging from beginn
16、ers to scratch golfers. He is very enthusiastic and passionate about the game and carries these qualities to his students as he teaches. BIOGRAPHIESMatthew Devera, Associate Professional, Class “A” Canadian Golf ProfessionalMatt joins us once again from a two year absence from Wildfire. He worked at
17、 Wildfire before the course opened in the spring of 2003. The last two seasons, he was the associate professional at Bigwin Island Golf Club in the Muskokas. Matt brings a wealth of knowledge back to Wildfire. He graduated from Durham College in Professional Golf Management in 2005 with honours as t
18、he top student of the class. He has been in the industry for 9 years and is entering his fifth season as a professional. Matt will bring new ideas to Wildfire including helping provide an exciting junior programs, private lessons and clinics.Bill Julie, Course SuperintendentBill arrived at Wildfire
19、in April 2002 for the commencement of the building phase of the course. He has previously been involved in the construction and grow-in of four new golf courses including two Thomas McBroom designs. Most recently, Bill was the course superintendent of Bell Bay in Baddeck, N.S., which received the Be
20、st New Golf Course in Canada Award by Golf Digest in 1998.Prior to Bell Bay, Bill was in Surrey B.C. at Morgan Creek Golf Course and is a graduate of the University of Guelphs Bachelor of Arts and associate in agriculture programs.Bill is responsible for the turf and environmental management of Wild
21、fire as well as the associated staff.PLAYING PRIVILEGESThe Director of Golf may at any time deny playing privileges to any individual when, in his opinion, it is in the best interest of the Club to do so. All golfers must register with the Pro Shop before commencing play.ADULT MEMBERSMembers may res
22、erve a starting time through the Pro Shop up to seven days in advance. The course will be available to Members only (and their invited guests) prior to 10:00 a.m., seven days a week.GUESTS OF MEMBERSThere is no restriction on the number of guests a Member may bring at one time, with the exception of
23、 a group that necessitates a shot-gun or modified shot-gun start. Any type of shot-gun start will be considered as a tournament and would be charged tournament fees. Any guest is allowed to play, as a guest of the club, 6 times per year. Cottage guests of Members (for more than two days) may apply t
24、o The Director of Golf for special privileges up to and including days 3 and 4. Unaccompanied guests of Members may be granted playing privileges through special arrangements made with the Director of Golf in advance. GROUP BOOKINGSIt is expected that some Members may wish to book blocks of starting
25、 times for business meetings, family get-togethers, etc. In such circumstances, it may not be feasible to have a Member in every foursome, however, the Member will assume responsibility for all charges and conduct of his/her guests. PACE OF PLAYSlow play takes away from the enjoyment of the game. Th
