2、stic and foreign readers to access information on the key Chinese foreign trade enterprises. The Guide 2009 is edited by Statistical Society for Foreign Economic Relations and Trade of China.The Guide 2009 lists the top 500 Chinese foreign trade enterprises and top 100 private enterprises ranked in

3、accordance with the import and export statistics of 2008 published by Chinas Customs. It incorporates a host of prominent Chinese enterprises with strong import and export performances.With a view to enhancing its practical use and to serving as an easy reference, the Guide 2009 has been adding new

4、elements, for examples: information has been consolidated with supplementary materials in both Chinese and English. The Chinese and English texts are in parallel to facilitate reading. Additional data and statistics are included, such as annual data since 1950s on Chinas foreign trade, utilization o

5、f foreign investment, foreign economic cooperation, Chinas overseas investment and trade in services.For the purpose of further promoting the enlisted enterprises, more complimentary copies will be distributed this year. In addition to the ministries and commissions under the State Council, commerci

6、al agencies of the provincial governments and the enterprises selected, the Guide 2009 will also be sent to the economic and commercial offices of the Chinese embassies and consulates overseas and embassies and consulates of foreign countries to China as well as to the headquarters offices of transn

7、ational corporations resident in China.This publication may still contain errors and omissions while being compiled due to time constraint and therefore your comments and suggestions are highly appreciated.编 者 说 明中国对外贸易500强企业一书是国内外各界了解中国对外贸易领域主要企业信息的权威刊物。该刊物的编校印发工作由中国对外经济贸易统计学会负责。中国对外贸易500强企业2009收录了

8、按照2008年海关进出口统计数据排序的中国对外贸易500强企业及百强民营企业名录，集中展示了中国进出口实力较强的企业群体及其经营业绩。为增强该刊物的实用性和参考性，今年进行了改版：一是整合并补充中英文资料，采取中英文直接对照方式编版；二是增大信息量，增编自20世纪50年代以来中国对外贸易、利用外资、对外经济合作，对外投资以及服务贸易历年统计资料。为加强对入选企业的宣传推介，本刊扩大了赠阅范围。除继续发送国务院各部委、地方省级商务主管部门以及入围企业，赠阅范围扩大至中国驻世界各国家（地区）使领馆经商处（室）、世界各国家（地区）驻华使领馆、跨国公司在华地区总部等。由于时间仓促，本刊在编辑出版过程中
