1、外国语学院外国语学院综合英语综合英语 1教学大纲教学大纲一、 课程性质综合英语 1是英语专业本科二年级学生第一学期开设的一门专业必修课,是为培养学生的英语听、说、读、写、译能力,为本专业其他课程和高年级专业课的学习奠定语言基础的一门课程。二、课程教学目标和任务:综合英语是一门综合英语技能课,其主要目的在于培养和提高学生综合运用英语的能力。本课程的教学目标在于传授系统的基础语言知识(语音,语法,词汇,篇章结构,语言功能/意念等) ,通过篇章讲解分析,使学生逐步提高语篇阅读理解能力,了解英语各种文体的表达方式和特点,扩大词汇量和熟悉英语常用句型;训练基本语言技能(听,说,读,写,译) ,使其具备基
2、本的口头与笔头表达能力,培养学生初步运用英语进行交际的能力;同时指导学生学习方法,培养逻辑思维的能力和独立工作能力,丰富学生的社会文化知识、增强学生对文化差异的敏感性,为进入高年级打下扎实的基础。因此该课程的教学任务就是帮助学生达到新大纲所规定的听、说、读、写、译等技能的要求,全面完成基础阶段的训练。教学重点放在词汇,句型,习惯表达法的掌握应用和口语交际的综合性训练上,掌握单词拼写,语音,语调等基础知识和基本技能及各种基础句型,基本语法。认知词汇4500左右,熟练掌握其中1400-1600个及其最基本搭配。能根据提示,在一小时内写出150-200词的短文,能写简单的书信,通知,便条,格式正确,
3、语言得体。学生必须就某一社会问题、文化习俗或生活细节,进行从词汇、单句到语段等各个方面的综合训练。语言功能也不再局限于单句的层次上,学生必须在更加广阔的范围内综合前两册所学的功能项目,灵活地完成所规定的各种语言交际任务。三、课程教学的基本要求综合英语课列入学校的教学计划,成绩记入学生的档案,按照高等学校英语专业基础阶段英语教学大纲及本学院对大学生的教学,考核的有关规定,严格考核制度。综合英语课教学时数为68学时。在完成规定学时的基础上,对学生的学习方法进行指导,有组织的开展第二课堂活动(组织班级或年级英语演讲赛、英语岛、英语晚会、英语辩论会等)。造成生动活泼的语言环境,丰富学生的业余文化生活,
4、提高他们的学习兴趣和运用语言的能力。在综合英语课的教学中,要根据学生的具体情况采取相应的教学方法。教基础阶段综合英语课的教师应有高度的事业心和责任感,充分发挥自己的主动性和创造性,针对不同教学对象,充分调动学生的学习积极性和主动性,培养学生的独立工作能力。四、课程教学内容Integrated Skills of English (Book 3)Unit 1 My Father (4 hours)I.
