1、单元语法归纳与练习,though和although引导的让步状语从句 在英语中,although和though作为从属连词,均可引导让步状语从句,意为“虽然;尽管;即使;然而”。两者在引导让步状语从句时,既有相同点,又存在一些差异。1.用法:though和although引导的从句放在主句前后均可,有时还可放在 句中。 He often helps me with my English although he is quite busy. = Although he is quite busy,he often helps me with my English.尽管他相当忙,但是还常常帮我学英

2、语。,2.相同:although和though同义,在一般情况下,可以互换使用。在 although和though引导的让步状语从句中,主句里不可用but,若要强调 前后两部分的对比意义,可在主句前加yet或still。 例如:Although/Though he has a lot of money,yet/still he is unhappy. 他虽然有很多钱,但并不幸福。3.区别:(1)though较普遍,常用于非正式的口语或书面语中,although则较为正 式。另外although语气比though重,常用以强调让步概念。,(2)though可以独立用作副词,常放在句末,尤用于句末

3、补充说明,使语气减 弱,意为“可是;然而”,而although无此用法。 例如:Its hard work.I enjoy it,though. 工作很苦,可是我喜欢。(3)though可以和even连用。even though=even if,意为“即使”,但 although无此用法。例如:Even if/Even though we could afford it,we wouldnt go abroad for our vacation. 即使我们付得起这笔费用,我们也不愿出国度假。,一、按要求完成句子1.She feels lonely.She has many friends.(用
