18、ducator was born in 1866 in Massachusetts, the U.S. When she was 5 years old,she got a terrible illness which made her lose most of her sight. In 1880, she went to the Perkins blind school. Anne could see a little after several operations. She devoted herself to disabled education because of her exp

19、erience. After she graduated, she came to Helen Keller s home to be a private teacher. When Helen touched something,Sullivan always spelt them on her hand. At first, Helen was very surprised, but immediately she was interested in it. “Water” was the first letter that Helen learnt. Although, it wasnt
