(许渊冲 译) 金风玉露 金风玉露其实就是指代秋天，大家可能不赞同许渊冲先生这里的直译：golden wind，dew of jades，但是某蕉有看过更扯的翻译：celestial winds and dews，还有什么heavenly dew for gods to drink这个发挥得太过了吧。许渊冲先生这里一句When Autumns Golden wind embraces Dew of Jades，就从字面来看，也还是很有意境很美丽的。 忍顾鹊桥归路 某蕉赞同这里没有干脆写出magpie bridge，鹊桥在我们的语境中，“鹊桥”是个很有诗意的画面，而且又和七夕的传闻

13、联系在一起，但是文化差异的缘由，magpie在英语中并没有什么美妙的象征意义，而且老外对七夕的传闻基本上也没什么深刻印象，哪怕对此有所了解，也未必就能对“鹊桥”这个词产生审美和诗意的联想。所以许渊冲先生在这里将“鹊桥”虚化成了homeward way：回家的路。其实这里这句“忍顾鹊桥归路”也翻译得相当简洁：Can they bear a separate homeward way? 如何能忍受独自归家?就是这个意思。或许homeward这个词有点难想到吧，本身不难的一个词，但是我们也不常用：homeward way=回家之路。 两情若是久长时，又岂在朝朝暮暮 If love between b

14、oth sides can last for aye， Why need they stay together night and day? 点睛之笔。其实原句不难，也就是说，假如我们要用英文表达出这个意思，是不难的。这里先不谈整首诗的翻译，假如是在谋和引言中出现这两句，我们自己是可以用简洁一点的语言表达出意思，当然假如这里能记住许渊冲先生的译本，以后留作备用是啦。 这里last for aye中，aye意为“恒久”，古英语，这里用看上去比forever要高雅。除此之外，两句译文也够简洁了。七夕节啊，拿这两句英文去骗骗人吧。写在送出去的卡片上，效果一流! 英语阅读翻译：七夕情书，创意又浪漫的6
