2、al;desert and desert.Time permitting,teach the students more knowledge about word formation.Then complete the sentences with words from Activity 1.Then we ll do another word practice in Activity 3,which is matching the words in the box with their meanings.In Activity 4,there is a passage,from which
3、we ll learn how to describe a region.After that,write a short description of the region you live in,including information in Activity 4.(If time is unlimited,it can be homework.) Everyday English today are from the text A Trip Along the There Gorges and Postcards to Myself in cultural corner.Get the
4、 students to know their meaning and use them correctly.Encourage the students to do this activity individually and then check with a partner.To consolidate it the teacher may ask the students to make up a sentence using the expressions in this part.Teaching Important Points Learn word formation and
