1、状语从句定义：在复合句中由从句表示的状语称作状语从句。分类：1、时间状语从句 2、地点状语从句 3、原因状语从句 4、目的状语从句 5、结果状语从句 6、条件状语从句 7、方式状语从句 8、比较状语从句 9、让步状语从句考点：1、各种从属连词的含义及用法比较； 2、no matter wh- 与 wh-ever 引导的从句的区别；3、状语从句的时态问题；4、状语从句的倒装问题；5、状语从句与其它从句的区别。1.时间状语从句： （一般时态表将来）引导时间状语从句的连词有：when, while, as, before, after, till, until, since, once, every

2、 time, by the time, as soon as, the moment/minute等。when, while, as“当的时候” 的区别When-从句谓语动词可用延续或瞬间动词；从句和主句动作可同时或先后发生。 was/were doing when 正在做而这时(突然) was/were about to dowhen 正要做而这时(突然)When I have time , I will go to see you.When I reached the station, the train had left.I was leaving/ was about to leave

3、 when the telephone rang.while -从句谓语动词用延续动词；强调主从句动作同时发生。While还有“而(表对比)”、“趁”之意。While we were in America, we saw him twice.While we were talking, he came in.Strike while the iron is hot. 18、ple were absent, we decided to put the meeting off. because,since,as, for表原因的区别because 语气最强，重在说明理由。回答why问句、引导表语从句、强调句中、前有just, only, simply修饰时只用becausesince, as 强调的是结果，不是原因，since比as在语气上强,表示自然的因果关系,相当于”既然”; as常用与讲话人认为某种理由很明显或对方很熟悉,不需要突出.for表示一种附带或补充解释或说明或推理,不位于句首.He didnt come because he was ill.-Why

(NMET02)A. so B. and C. but D. yet题1是主从复合句，所以中间不能使用并列连词 and; or; but; so 等。yet 是副词，只有 yet 可以与 though 连用。题2为并列句，而“Excuse , but ”为一固定搭配。在复习中需要细心的分析句子结构和成分。
