14、(但这种情形远不如用后接动名词普遍）。如果aswellas连接的是两个简单动词形式(do, does, did)，它和第二个动词实际上起着插入语的作用，这时aswellas后的动词在人称和数上应与主语保持一致。如果谓语是一般现在时或一般过去时，aswellas之后可与前面一致，也可用动名词形式。如：He publishes as well as prints his own books. 他不但印刷而且还出版自己的书。Heworks,aswellassleeps,intheroom.他既在这房间里睡觉，又在这儿工作。Shesingsaswellasplayingthepiano. 她不但会弹钢

15、琴，而且会唱歌。Theyplaythepianoaswellassing. 他们不但会唱歌，而且会弹琴。Thereportwasimpersonalaswellasbeingprecise. 这份报告不仅精细，而且不带个人色彩。四、需要注意的几个问题1. 用于否定结构中not位于aswellas后时，两者都否定；not用于aswellas前时，否定前者，肯定后者。试比较：Ishallnotseethefilmaswellashe. 他将去看电影，而我不去。I,aswellashe,shallnotseethefilm. 他不去看电影，我也不去。2.aswellas连接的人称代词，既可以是主格，

16、也可以是宾格，但句意不同。Theyhaveinvitedyouaswellasme.他们邀请了我，也邀请了你。（you和me都作宾语）TheyhaveinvitedyouaswellasI.他们和我一样都邀请了你。（they和I都作主语）3.may/mightaswelldosth表示“不妨，还是的好”。4. aswell是副词，意为“又；另外也”，其后不跟成分。又如： Givemethoseaswell. 把那此也给我吧。 Hesentmealetterandsomemoneyaswell.他寄给我一封信，外加一些钱IamgoingtoLondonandmysisterisgoingaswell（going，too）.我要到伦敦去，我妹妹也要去。Inotonlyplaytheguitar, Isingaswell（Ialsosing）.我不但弹吉他，而且还演唱。-
