Please serve me some food and drinks.whether和if常用于“是否用于宾语从句,但是当在句中与or连用,尤其位于句子开头时,通常用whether而不用if,另外if还有如果的意思,whether没有。如:如果明天天晴,我们将去公园。If its sunny tomorrow, we will go to the park.如果,条件状
4、语从句I dont know whether hell come.我不知道他是否会来。whether=if,可与if互换我不知道他是否来还是不来I dont know whether he will come or not. 不能够与if互换4. Thats good enough. 这想法够好的了。enough:作形容词,通常修饰名词,放在名词的前面或后面均可。如:我们带上足够的食物去郊游。We take enough food for our field trip.我们需要足够的房间居住。We need rooms enough to live in.enough可以做副词,修饰形容词和副
5、词,但只能放在形容词或副词的后面。你觉得够暖和吗?Is it warm enough for you?他跑得真够快的。He runs fast enough.Section C 1. keep trying. 继续努力吧!keep sb/ sth +形容词。让某人/某物处于某一种状态。请保持让这扇门是关着的。Please keep the door closed.这件外套会让你觉得暖和些。This coat will keep you warm.keep sb/ sth doing sth 让某人继续做某事;让某事持续进行。你为什么让我等这么久?Why do you keep me waiti
6、ng so long?我会尽量不让你久等。Ill try not keep you waiting. 2. keep (on) doing sth 继续/重复做某事I keep forgetting to mail this letter.我老是忘记把这封信寄出。I keep thinking about the football game in the afternoon.我老是想下午的足球比赛。 3. It has very few school supplies. 几乎没有什么设备。few, a few可接可数名词的复数形式。little, a little后接不可数名词。a few,
7、a little表示“一些。对句子持肯定态度。few, little表示“很少,几乎没有,句子是否认的。如:He arrived a few minutes later.他几分钟后到了。He knows few friends here. 在这儿他几乎不认识朋友。I have a little time to think about it.我只有一点时间去考虑它。There is very little money left.剩下的钱不多了。 4. Nigerian children are like children everywhere.尼日利亚的孩子和任何一个地方的孩子一样。句中的lik
8、e是作介词用,意为“像一样,like与后面的名词构成介词短语作表语,句中的不定代词everywhere是作定语,修饰前面的children。 5. They work hard at school and love to play games. 他们在里很用功,也喜欢做游戏。work hard at sth. 在方面努力学习。如:我很喜欢英语,我一定要努力学好它。I like English very much, I must work hard at it. 6. Our students will sell many delicious international foods in ord
9、er to raise money for a village school in Nigeria. 为了给尼日利亚一所乡村筹钱,我们学生将出售许多美味的国际食品。in order to 意为“为了,它引导的动词不定式短语作目的状语。如:他起得很早为了赶上早班车。He got up early in order to catch the early bus.为了能去那所著名大学她夜以继日地学习。He studies hard day and night in order to go to the famous college. 7. I came to Canada in 1994 and h
10、ave lived here since then.我1994年来到加拿大,从那时起我一直住在这儿。since与过去某一时刻连用,表示从那一时刻起到说话时为止,常与完成时态连用。如:从六点钟起她一直在这里。She has been here since six oclock.从去年起他就学习英语。He has studied English since last year.for常与一段时间连用We have lived there for ten years. 我们在那里住了10年。我们已经学习了两年的英语。We have learned English for two years.Sect
11、ion D宾语从句一宾语从句在复合句中作主句的宾语,整个复合句结构以主句开始,有主语和谓语动词,动词是及物动词,需要宾语来完成句子的意思,而宾语是一个从句,从句本身有主语,谓语动词及其它成份。结构:主句+连词+宾语从句以that引导的宾语从句在以that引导的宾语从句中,附属连词that只起引导作用,在从句中不作任何成份,也无词义,在口语或非正式文体中常常省略,这种宾语从句的语序符合汉语的习惯,有很多动词及物动词后可跟that引导的宾语从句,较常用的有say, think, know, hope, see, hear, remember, mean, believe等。当主句为一般现在时态时,
