Its sunny.2) 能用所学的知识描述天气情况。 3)描述正在发生的动作。 2. 情感态度价值观目标:教育学生善于观察天气;了解世界各地的天气情
2、况,增加世界观念。 二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) The vocabulary and useful expressions. 2) Hows the weather? Its raining/ windy. 3) What are you doing? Im playing basketball. 2. 教学难点:运用目标语言来对天气进行问答,并且会问答其他人正在进行的活动。三、 安排课时:第一课时四、 教学用具: 课件、音频、视频、课本。Teaching procedures:Step1. Lead in播放英文歌曲视频“Hows the weather?”导出教学目标,引入今天新课
3、:-Hows the weather?-Its raining设计意图:爱听音乐是大多数孩子的天性,所以我用Hows the weather? 这首歌来引入将要学习天气的新课特别贴切,也激发孩子的兴趣。Step2.learn new words:sunny ,rainy/raining, cloudy, windy ,snowing /snowy, weather1.(Show some pictures of the weather)2.Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is. 3. Ss learn the n
4、ew words and expressions with the help of the pictures. 设计意图:在讲授词汇时,采用动画和音效相结合的方法,让同学们整体感知,然后通过感性认识来说出本场景所反映的自然现象,这样便于培养学生认识事物的能力和学生学习的兴趣。 Step3. Guessing game (Hows the weather?)1. Show four pictures on the big screen ,guessHows the weather?2. Student guess and answer the question.设计意图:用幻灯片设计一个猜测游戏
5、,根据所给出的物品,学生通过抢答的方式猜出天气怎样。此活动的目的,既是巩固新词汇,又可提高学生的积极性。Step4. Do you know these places?Show the students five pictures,ask Ss do you know these places?( Beijing, Shanghai, Boston, Toronto, Moscow)设计意图:提供国内外的几个地方,为下面的pair work 做铺垫。Step5. Pair work 1. Tell the Ss: If you are in one of the places in the p
6、icture above. Talk about the weather with your friends in another city on the phone. 2. Make a model with a student like this:T: Hi! Hows the weather in Beijing?S1: Its sunny. 3. Ss work in pairs. Ask and answer about the weather in the cities.4. Invite some pairs to present their conversations for
7、the class,and choose the best pairs,and give them small presents to thank them. 设计意图:通过pair work ,让学生应用语言目标来练习口语,达到语言的应用功能,同时用鼓励的方法激励孩子们积极参与到活动中来。Step6. 11、报员,先在小组练习,每小组选出一名预报员进行比赛,让学生模仿以上句子(或者可以自由发挥)。选出最佳预报员,并颁发荣誉证书。把英语学习与同学们的实际生活相联系,增加可操作性和趣味性。来:Step10.Discuss1. Do you know other words about the weather? 你还知道哪些表述天气的形容词?设计意图:通过讨论补充其它描述天气的形容词。如:cool,hot, warm, cold ,wet ,humid,foggy.Step11.Protect the environmentShow three pictures to know more about t
