Most draft beer is not pasteurized, so it must be kept cold. The temperature of non-pasteurized Ale & Lager type beers must be maintained b

30、etween 1-3 C all the way to the point of dispense. Temperatures even half a degree above 4-5C will cause CO2 to break out of the beer and result in foam and promote sour/cloudy beer. When temperature rises above 10-15C, bacteria growth rapidly begins to spoil flavor and cloud the beer. Simply put, k

31、eg beer storage can be compared to milk storage: if it is not kept cold, it will spoil. Things to remember when handling draught: check cooler temperatures daily; keep a log of the check remind employees and delivery men to keep the cool room door closed to minimize temperature loss never stack othe

34、nes regardless of the volume of draught need regular cleaning and rinsing at least once every two weeks. Lines must be cleaned to remove sediment that adheres to the inside of the beer lines. This sediment can cause the beer to taste and smell off. Mix a brewery approved cleaner in a bucket of water

35、 according to manufacturers direction Disconnect tap from the barrel and tubing. Remove the beer faucet Put the tap and faucet parts in bucket to soak Put on faucet cleaning attachment. Connect coupling to cleaning attachment Pump solution from bucket through line (with bucket type pump) until it st

36、arts to flow out the beer line. Continue to pump the cleaning solution through the system for several minutes to thoroughly clean lines While youre waiting, scrub the tap and beer faucet parts with brush inside and out. put the small sponge in the line at the faucet cleaning attachment Reconnect cou

37、pling and pump sponge through beer line. This cleans out the sediment. Assemble rinsed faucet. Fill bucket with fresh, cool water. Connect pump hose and beer line using twin male coupling. Pump fresh water through the line system to remove cleaning solution. When crystal clear water comes through, you are ready to re- connect the barrel!25Cleaning beer lines:26 结束语结束语
