He wanted to help all the wounded people, paying no attention to which side they were fighting for. The most import

4、ant result of his work was an international treaty(agreement made and signed between nations) called Geneva Convention. It protects prisoners of war, the sick and the wounded, as well as other citizens during war. The American Red Cross was set up by Clara Barton in 1881. Today the Red Cross in the
