3、rowth of tourism in recent decades has made a significant change in destinations of travelers. Nowadays, a growing number of travelers have chosen to pay a visit to foreign countries instead of native scenic spots. Some people claim that foreign visitors should pay more money for their travel than t
4、he native, in order to reduce the negative influences from international travelers. However, I totally disagree with this opinion and believe that the same prices should be charged for both native and international travelers.First of all, higher price is unfair for international travelers to enjoy t
5、hose charming attractions, which belongs to the all mankind. That means a plenty of travelers can hardly afford the higher prices after paying for the expense on transportation. The young travelers, for instance, who have not permanent jobs and much money in pockets, will miss the chance to explore
6、the wonderful world because of the huge expending on the foreign attractions.Secondly, the life of the local will be affected negatively due to the high charge will make the attractions not so attractive for international travelers. Numerous welfares, such as pension for the old and the education qu
7、ality, cannot be improved without enough revenues from tourism for people living in the tourist cities. Consequently, some local people have to lose their jobs because of the depression of the tourism. In fact, the problem of unemployment will lead to more serious results, such as the increasing cri
8、me ratio, to local residents.In conclusion, higher prices of the attractions will bring frustration to foreign travelers and also reduce the benefits of the local. Indeed, the high prices will make a great contrition to the protection of the local attractions, but compared with the depression of tou
9、rism, I still support that traveler should enjoy the attractions with the same price wherever they come from.Some people think that dangerous sports should be banned, but others think the people should have freedom to choose sports activities. Discuss both views and give your opinion.There is no dou
10、bt that sports activities have always been appealing to the public of all class in most societies, and each of them owns a wide range of fans, including those dangerous sports, which arouses a contentious debate with regard to whether the government should restrict all kinds of dangerous sports or e
11、ncouraging the pubic to choose it based on their own interests.Those who are of the idea that all forms of sports should be prohibited may seriously be concerned about the possible consequences the dangerous sports might result in, such as injury and death. A convincing case in point is that even th
12、e professional athletes are likely to get injured if they involve in such activities as boxing and wrestling and this would probably negatively affect their ordinary life. But it seems difficult for the government to draw a clear line between the safe and dangerous sports. If they banned football an
13、d basketball, there would probably be a dispute between a significant number of fans and the government. This is largely because those sports gain tremendous popularity worldwide.On the contrary, many hold the view that people should be granted to choose whatever sports they favor, regardless of its
14、 danger. It appears reasonable for people to make their own decision for adults are rational enough to distinguish whether they are capable of participating in those sports so that they could avoid the detrimental consequences. Even if they are injured, they could be responsible for their own decisi
15、on. However, when the youth are taken into account, more consideration tends to be needed since they are less likely to be as cautious as the adults. This means unexpected consequences of taking part in dangerous sports still exist.In conclusion, I tend to argue that adults could have the right to c
16、hoose whatever sports they participate in seeing that they are mature enough to make a decision while apparently dangerous sports for children such as boxing and wrestling should be restricted, or otherwise they should be supervised to take part in.Some people think zoos are cruel and all the zoos s
17、hould be closed. However, some people think zoos are useful to protect the rare animals. Discuss both these views and give your opinion. In the current society,we have much access to knowing different animals.Visiting the zoo is one of the convenient ways.However,there is an increasing debate about
18、whether the zoo should be established ,and be opened to the public.Different people have comparable opinions. Some people think zoos are horrible,and it is unfair to animals.They think our government should close the zoo.The most important reason is that animals belong to nature,and zoos are not the
19、ir real home.And in some way,living in zoos is crucial to animals.With time goes by,they will lose their fundamental skills which are essential to adapting to wild environment.As reported,some animals that spending a long time on zoos finally died,because of not adapting to the natural life again.We
20、 know that some animals are living by groups,but they are closed by separate ways in the zoo.Animals have their own living ,and we should not forbid it. Although some people think we should close the zoo,others have different ideas.They think zoos are useful to protect the rare animals,and it provid
21、es animals a safe place.Firstly,many people are killing precious wild animals to obtain more money.We can see that the number of rare animals is decreasing from many news.Zoos are good places to hold back illegal actions.Secondly,the environment has suffered from pollution,and some animals are losin
22、g their previous home.Zoos are good choices to those animals.So,the zoo is really a better place to protect animals. Those two opinions are all correct,but I think we should not close all zoos in today.We can develope our zoos facilities to improve animals living environment,and let them feel that z
23、oos are familiar to wild environment.We can also training animals through natural methods,so they can adapt to nature successfully.All in all,closing the zoo is not an effective way,what we should do is developing the zoos environment. Unlike other countries, police in UK do not carry guns. Some thi
24、nk it leaves citizen unprotected, others think it reduce the overall violence in the society. Please discuss. At the mention of a policeman, most people will have in their mind the image of a strong man or woman with a gun on his belt.But it is not the case in UK: police there do not carry guns.Peop
