2、ure,BanpoCulture,LongshanCulture,andMajiayaoCultureareofthegreatest.其中最重要的有仰韶文化、大汶口文化、河姆渡文化、半坡文化、龙山文化和马家窑文化。用英语讲中国史前文化：TheYangshaoCulture仰韶文化ThePrehistoryCulture史前文化TheYangshaoCulture仰韶文化TheYangshaoculturewasaNeolithicculturethatexistedextensivelyalongthecentralYellowRiverinChina.仰韶文化是在中国广泛存在黄河中部的一种

3、新石器文化。TheYangshaopeoplelivedinroundorrectangularhousesinthemountainousregionsthatwerebelowgroundlevelandsurroundedbylittlewallsofearth.仰韶人生活在圆形的或矩形的房子里，这些房子建在地平面下面的山区并被土质的小围墙所包围。Theycultivatedmilletextensively,somevillagesalsocultivatedwheatorrice.仰韶人大量种植粟，一些村庄也会种小麦和水稻。Theykeptsuchanimalsaspigsanddo

6、Ningy-angCountyinShandongProvince.大汶口文化的踪迹1959年时在山东泰安市大汶口村附近的大汶口河以及宁阳县堡头村被初次发现。MostoftheremnantsliearoundMountTai,大部分遗迹依泰山而存，reachingasfarasthesoutherncoastoftheBohaiSeainthenorth,JiangsuProvinceinthesouth,北达渤海南岸，南至江苏省，theeasternlineoftheWesternPlainsofShandongProvinceinthewest,andthecoastoftheYello

7、wSeaintheEast.西至山东省西部平原的东线，东至黄河沿岸。Sofar,over200remainshavebeendiscoveredandmorethan10sites(mainlytombs)unearthed.目前为止，超过200件遗迹已被发现，超过10座遗址(主要为墓穴)被开掘。Researchershaverevealedthattheculturelastedmainlyfrom4300B.C.to2500B.C.研究者发现大汶口文化主要从公元前4300年持续到公元前2500年。AncestorsofDawenkouCulturehadpolishedstonewarea

8、stheirmajorproductionimplements,大汶口文化的祖先打磨石器以作为他们主要的生产工具，includingalargenumberofexquisitetoolsofbone,hornandtooth.其中包括很多精致的由骨头、角和牙齿制成的工具。Potteryforeverydayusewasmainlyredclaypotteryandredsandpottery.每一天使用的陶器主要为红土陶和红砂陶。Thereweregraypottery,blackpotteryandasmallamountofwhitehardpottery,andcoloredpotte

9、ryaswell.同时也有灰陶、黑陶和一小部分的白瓷和彩陶。Duringthisperiod,productiondevelopedfrommanualworktowheelwork.在这段时期，生产从手工工作进化为机械工作。Refinedpotteryartcraftscameintobeing.精致的陶艺工艺产生了。Agricultureconstitutedtheirchiefeconomicactivity,whilefishingandhuntingweresubsidiaryactivities.农业构成了人们主要的经济活动，捕鱼和打猎成为了附属的活动。Stockbreeding,

10、suchaspig,dog,cow,andchickenraising,wereratherdeveloped.畜牧业，比方猪、狗、奶牛和鸡的养殖也在发展。ThehandicraftindustryofDawenkouculturehadseparateditselfgraduallyfromagricultureandexistedallbyitself.大汶口文化中的手工业使其逐步脱离农业并构成了本人的文化。Thesharpcontrastbetweentherichandthepoorwasbecomingmoreandmoreobvious.贫富之间的比照越来越明显。Inthelateperiod,thereappearedtheco-burialofmenandwomen,whichmarkedthesocialtransitionfromthematriarchytothepatrilineal.在其文化的最后一段时期出现了男女合葬，而这标着着社会又母系向父系的过渡。
