Step1: Lead in Start the new lesson with asking the students a question:T: Are you alone in the world? Do you need others help in life?S: No. Of course we need

You are very kind.T: Just now, we watched some disasters such as: earthquake, flood, fire. These damaged peoples homes even people lost their lives. I have a friend- Jason Glen. Something ter

6、rible happened to him. What is it? Lets have a look together. Write the title on the blackboard.Step2: Listening and answering. Who said this sentence? Why did he say so? Please listen the tape carefully and answer the following questions:1 How old is Jason Glen?2What happened to Jason Glen and his

7、family?3 When did it happen?4 Who helped Jason and his family?5 How did they help Jason and his family?If the students can answer these questions correctly, go to the next step. If they cant , ask them to discuss it in pairs or groups, then answer it.Step3: Read and deal with the language points.1Gr
