1、 英语 课程标准课程编码: 课程类别:公共基础课、必修课适用专业:各个专业 授课单位:石油工程系英语教研室学时:152 编写执笔人及编写日期: 檀卉芳 李慧利 学分: 审定负责人及审定日期: 2014年9月 1、课程定位和课程设计1. 1课程性质与作用(1)课程的性质与作用该课程为渤海石油职业学院的公共基础课、必修课,是为学院各专业的人才培养目标服务的。本课程以职场交际为目标,以应用为目的,培养学生实际应用英语的能力,特别是听说能力,使他们能在日常活动和与未来职业相关的业务活动中进行一般的口头和书面交流;同时掌握有效的学习方法,增强自主学习能力,提高综合文化素养;形成健康的人生观;为他们提升就
2、业竞争力及今后的可持续发展打下良好的基础。(2)与其他课程的关系序号先修课程名称为本课程提供的主要能力1初、高中英语基础英语语法知识和英语技能序号后续课程名称需要本课程提供的主要能力1职业/行业英语基础词汇、语法知识,一定的阅读、写作及翻译能力。 1.2课程设计理念根据2000年制订的高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求,以外语能力为核心,以职业背景为依托,以实践实训为途径,设计整个课程的教学过程。将基础语言交流项目和职业模拟项目贯穿其中,进行语言能力与职业能力的无缝对接,以实现知识传授、技能培养、职业能力的一体化,最终实现提高职业能力素养的目标。 1.3课程设计思路(1)以就业为导向,着重培养应
3、用能力。在课程设计上,英语课程结合我院英语教育的实际,基础英语教学内容与行业英语教学内容有机结合,并将行业英语教学渗透到整个高职英语教学中,成为提高学生英语应用能力的语言载体。使学生能更容易实现学习与工作的对接,学生能够在真实的工作中,听得清、说的明、看的懂、写得出,大大提高自身的就业竞争力。(2)实用为主,够用为度大学英语课程以高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求为基础,课程内容的选取贴近我院高职学生的基础水平,难易适中,以强化应用能力培养为主线,删减应用性不强的内容,加强实践性教学而不是只强调知识的系统传授。同时,本课程还根据社会的发展不断调整教学内容,保持教学内容的时代性。(3)实施全方位的
4、考评体系,实现考核内容的实践性和形式的开放性本着尊重语言学习规律,重视学生应用能力养成的过程性原则,确定了终结性评价与形成性评价相结合的全方位的考评体系。我们从学习态度(出勤率,课堂表现)、项目实施(小组活动,随堂测试)、语言知识和语言技能四方面综合评价学生。其中,态度和项目实施是形成性评价的要素,语言知识和语言技能属于终结性评价的范畴。2、 课程目标2.1知识目标通过教师的精讲和学生的能动学习,逐渐扩大学生的词汇量,从听、说、读、写、译五个方面打下较为扎实的语言基础,提高学生的英语综合运用能力。按照高职高专英语课程分级总体目标的要求,本课程标准对语言技能中的听、说、读、写四个技能提出两个级别
5、的目标要求:A级:认知2500个英语单词以及由这些词构成的常用词组,对其中2000个左右的单词能正确拼写,英汉互译。另需掌握300个与行业相关的英语词汇。B级:认知2000个英语单词以及由这些词构成的常用词组,对其中1500左右的单词能正确拼写,英汉互译。另需掌握200个与行业相关的英语词汇。2.2能力目标本课程能力目标是使大一的学生能达到二级或B级,即要求学生有明确和持续的学习动机及自主学习意识。能就较广泛的话题交流信息,提出问题并陈述自己的意见和建议。有主动利用多种教育资源进行学习的能力,初步形成适合自己的学习策略。理解跨文化交际中的文化差异,初步形成跨文化交际意识。 本课程要使分级教学后
6、的A班学生在大二、大三能达到三级或A级,即要求学生有自主学习能力。能听懂有关熟悉话题的演讲、讨论、辩论和报告的主要内容。能做到日常生活的口头翻译。能利用各种机会用英语进行真实交际。能借助字典阅读题材较为广泛的简单的科普文章和英语报刊。能用常见应用文体完成一般的写作任务,并具有初步使用文献的能力。能自主开拓学习渠道,丰富学习资源。2.3素质目标(1)培养学生养成良好的学习习惯及掌握有效的学习英语的方法。(2)通过举办英语演讲比赛、口语角、国际文化节、播放英文电影等形式增强学生对国外的了解,提高学习英语的兴趣。3、课程内容与教学要求高职英语综合教程(第二版)共两册,每册共有10个单元。每个教学单元
7、从话题导言(Top Introduction)开始,有三个模块组成。第一模块:听说技能部分,围绕教学单元的主题展开,力求使学生在听说两方面进一步得到训练。第二模块:综合运用部分(精读),包括课文、词汇、语言点、课文阅读理解、语法结构、写作训练等。第三模块:泛读材料,由课内阅读、课外阅读及快乐学习等内容组成。3.1学习任务项目第一学期序号单元内容能力目标知识要点建议学时1介绍课程的教学目标、教学内容、教学手段与方法以及课程的评价方式和评价标准等内容。 能够对本课程的教学要求有完整的了解,并制定相应的学习计划; 能够采用相应的学习策略,掌握学习本课程所必需的网络学习资源。22Unit 1 Orga
