One part is the education in the old China and another part is the education of the new China.First, In the old China the English education is very behindhand in the world. There are a little people can learn English .And there are only a few

3、people can learn the English in abroad. But people had known the English is very important for the countrys develop so some people had begun initiate the English education .This is the origin of the English education in China. And in this time there only have very few teacher can teach. Some student

4、s learn English by themselves. And there dont have enough English books .So they lent the book from the foreign and write by themselves. Because of this a lot students dont have very good pronunciation and listening .Secondly , I will tell you something about the changes in new China, In China almos

5、t everyone learn English .The old men learn and the children also learn .There are a lot of English books to read and there are a lot profession teachers .There also have a lot people from the overseas . Thirdly, I will tell you something from the malpractice about the English education in China. No

6、wadays, English is a practical tool for a very strong class. Therefore, when we write textbooks we must use combine subject, structure and communication to improve it. When teaching, we should pay attention to the meaning of language, focus on bringing up students ability of using language and solvi

7、ng problems, put students listening, speaking, reading and writing skills an important position. And make students have the basic ability to communicate with English. After several years practice, we have improvements. The majority of areas of English class have already freed students from rigid wor

8、d memory, cumbersome syntax analysis and strict translation of text. And this makes the class a place where teachers and classes can communicate their feelings and idea.Fact has proved that chinas English teaching in schools has made encouraging progress. However, because of the historical reasons,

9、such as poor foreign language teaching in primary and secondary schools, teachers old teaching concept, coupled with the heavy pressure of the test, making it difficult getting rid of its poor condition. Generally, teachers professional level and language environment were low. Schools lacked teaching skills and methods and language environment. And all these would lead to a low level of English. To catch up with the fast developing society, we need to develop English. Above those I think maybe the English education in China is not the best. But it become more and more better than before.
