The

8、 art originated from the period of the Tang Dynasty, and enjoyed its blossoming development during the periods of Song and Yuan Dynasties. A history of over 1000 years has seen the arts consistent development, variation and perfection.The tools and materials used for ink and wash painting, like call

9、igraphy brush, Xuan paper and ink, are China-specific, which enrich the paintings with Chinese-specific features. Mixing water and ink with varied ratio, for example, gives the paintings different levels of being dry and wet, dark and light.Putting ink strokes of differed concentration on absorbent

10、Xuan paper manifests unconstrained imaginary scenes, which generates unique aesthetic effect. Old Town of LI JIANG was originally built in the period of S
