2、teachers of children. Parents parenting styles plays a decisive role on childrens future development, especially the development of interpersonal relationship. This paper will briefly elaborate the classification of family education methods and their impacts on childrens interpersonal relationships.

4、 also includes family education and social education. From the perspective of family education, parents are the abecedarians of children as well as childrens lifelong teachers. Family is the first school for children so the parents upbringing has a subtle influence on the development of childrens ps
5、ychology health, daily behaviors , interpersonal relationships and other aspects. Family upbringing style is a kind of behavioral tendency parents will express in the daily activity of educating and raising their children as well as a comprehensive reflection of their educational concept and behavio

Due to the importance of family upbringing style, it has been one of the important content of pedagogy and psychology research. .The classification of the family upbringing stylesAs early as the end of the 19th century, Freud had noticed the effects of different rearing patterns. He simplely clas
7、sified the roles of prarents: father is responsible for providing rules and discipline while mother is responsible for providing love and warmth. The earliest researcher on the impacts of parenting styles on children socialization, American psychologist Simon (P.M.S ymonds, 1939) put forward two bas
8、ic dimensions of the parent-child relationship: accept - reject, dominate - obey. Baldwin (A.L.B aldwin, 1955) divided family upbringing styles into two dimensions: emotional warmth -tohostility and attachment - interference. Sears (1957), combining this thought and learning theory together, put for
9、ward two important concepts in the parenting styles: warm and control. Hoffman (Hoffman, 1970) specializes in the influence of punishment on childrens socialization. He divided punishment into mandatory and ”withdraw love”. Compulsory means parents corporal punishment of children, coldly rejection,
10、deprivation and threats, withdraw love refers to the psychological punishment which takes the form of ignoring and isolating children, showing disappointment to children, etc. The most influential research belongs to American psychologist Baum Rind (Baum rind, 1991). Using family and laboratory obse
11、rvation research, he puts forward two dimensions of parents parenting styles: demandingness and responsiveness. Demandingness refers to whether parents had built up standards for childrens behaviors and insisted asking their children to up to those standards. Responsiveness refers to the degree of a
12、ccepting and loving children as well as the sensitivity to the childs needs. According to these two dimensions, parents parenting styles can be divided into four categories: authoritative, authoritarian, spoiling, ignorance types Chinese education Scientists and psychologists doing research on famil
13、y education styles mostly use this classification. The performances of different parenting styles are as follows :(1) Authoritative parents come up with reasonable requirements on their children, enforce a proper limit to their behaviors, set up appropriate goals and insist requiring children to obe
14、y and achieve these goals. At the same time, they showe concern and love for childrens growth, patiently listen to the childs point of view and encourage children to participate in family decisions. In short, the characteristics of this kind of parenting style is rational, strict, democratic, patien
15、t and love.(2) Authoritarian parents is very strict to children, put forward a high standard of behaviors that children have little room for bargaining. If the child appears slightly, parents can take punishment, or other penalties. In essence, this way only takes the needs of the adult into conside
16、ration, but ignore and suppress the children, their own beliefs and independence.(3) Spoiling parents are full of love and expectations to children, but forget the task of children socialization. They seldom put forward any requirements for children or impose any control.(4) Ignorance parents show i
17、ndifferent attitude to childrens growth, they neither put forward any requirements and behavior standard nor show concern for children. They at most provide food and clothing, but do not pay effort to provide them a better life and growth conditions. Parents treated children in this way perhaps beca
18、use their own lives are full of pressure to survive, or suffered a huge setback or misfortune so that family relationship has significant problems. The interpersonal relationships of childrenInterpersonal relationship is a kind of close relationship formed when people respond and influence each othe
19、r through the form of language, thoughts, emotion, etc. A good interpersonal relationship refers to that the individual can hold a caring attitude, take the initiative to care for others, and on the basis of sincere trust, actively listen to the needs of others, and be good at sense motive, empathy
20、with others to interactive communication (CAI Peicun, 2000). Childrens interpersonal relationship can be classified as the following: children and heterosexual relationships, children and homosexual relationships, children and parents relationship, children and teachers, other peers and strangers re
21、lationship, etc. Results analysisColligating four childrens behaviors and the results of previous research, no matter what kind of parents upbringing adopted, as long as it can reflect emotional warmth understanding way, childrens anxiety and depression will decrease. This warm understanding way may
22、 give children more affection experience so that when moveing towards the society they will experience less social loneliness. It is good in the formation of childrens independence, self-confidence and initiative and fasten the integration of society. And it is good for promoting the development of
