1、八、状语从句A. 时间状语从句1.when：当时；突然 I was walking along the street when someone patted me on the shoulder.2.while：在期间，接延续性动词，多接过去进行时 While it was raining，they went out3.as：一边一边，一就 She dances as she sings./ Just as he caught the worm,he carried outwhen，while，as都可以接延续动词，这时三者可以互换，as更强调动作先后或同时发生My father fall a

2、sleep while/when/as I was watching TV.When/As you leave，please take a raincoat with you.（不能用while）4.before：在之前，主将从现，主句过去时或过去完成时，从句用一般过去时 They had got everything ready before I arrived.It was（not）long before 过了很久才/不久It was not long before the whole country rose up.It will（not）be long before 要过很久才/过不久

3、就会It will probably not be long before they understand each other.Would/willbefore. 宁可也不愿He would lose the job before he got himself involved in the dirty deal.5.after：在之后，从句过去时或过去完成时，主句用一般过去时 He arrived after the game started.6.until与tiil：在肯定句中，表示“做直到”，必须接延续性动词，可以与before互换I slept until midnight. 7、d finish the work ahead of time.E.原因状语从句1.because：直接原因，语气最强，必然的因果关系，回答why引导的疑问句I came back late yesterday because I was on duty.2.since：由于，既然，语气比because弱，表示间接的附带原因Since I have no money，I cant buy any food.3.as：由于，语气比since弱，表示为人所知的，显而易见的原因As he didnt know much English，he looked up the word in the dic

8、tionary.4.for：表示多种情况推断 He must be ill，for he is absent today.F.结果状语从句1.such+a/an+形容词+可数名词单数+that = so+形容词+a/an+可数名词单数+thatThis is such an interesting book that I want to read it again.This is so interesting a book that I want to read it again.2.such+形容词+可数名词复数/不可数名词+thatHe told us such funny stories

9、 that we all laughed.3.so+形容词/副词+thatHe spoke so fast that I couldnt follow him.4.so+many/few/much/littleG.让步状语从句1.although与though：不与but连用，可以与yet连用Although/Though he was over sixty，（yet）he began to learn French.2.even if与even though：即使，纵使 Ill go even if/though it rains tomorrow.3.no matter+特殊疑问词 = 特

10、殊疑问词-ever（no matter结构不引导宾语从句）No matter what（whatever）the weather is like，you can always find surfers out riding the waves.Prisoners have to eat whatever they are given.（whatever引导宾语从句，不能用no matter what）H.条件状语从句1.if：如果 If it doesnt rain tomorrow，we will go there by bike.2.unless：除非；如果不，相当于ifnotLets g

If you are not too tired，lets go out for a walk.3.as/so long as：只要就 As/So long as I keep running，I will finish the race.条件状语从句的时态：主将从现I.比较状语从句1.同级比较：asas，not so/asas，the same as，suchasMary is as old as my sister. He doesnt run so/as fast as Jack.His book is the same as mine. He is not such a good worker as Peter.2.不同级：形容词/副词的比较级+than3.the more，the more/ the+比较级，the+比较级：越，越The more you read，the better you understand.The harder you work，the greater progress you will make.
