3、般现在时表述某人想作某事，知道want to后面要接动词原形。课前准备教师准备多媒体课件，单词卡片，教学过程Step1. Warming upfree talkStep2. Preview1. Sing a song： America， America 播放录音，师生齐唱，大屏幕显示歌词和与歌曲相关的图片。2. Ask and answer： Do you like this song？ What do you know about America？ 学生根据已有经验和自己课前搜集的资料回答，当学生说出the UN building时，教师引出新课。Step3. Presentation1.呈

4、现图片，引出课文。出示联合国大厦的图片，问： “Do you know the UN building？ The UN is the United Nations. Do you want to visit the UN building？ Today well visit the UN building with Daming and Simon.”2. Play the tape and let the students listen. 教师播放录音。3.出示这句话“The UN wants to make peace in the world.”教peace的发音，ea发i： 的音，c发

5、s 的音。再教world的发音，注意区分world和word发音的不同，让学生读.4.讲解make peace 和in the world两个词组。在句中体会其意思，教师通过图片和肢体语言帮助学生理解。5.学生分角色朗读课文，并请两组学生上台表演。Step4. Practice1.操练“want to”句子2.找出want to句式的规律a.出示这3句含有want to的句子，观察这三句话有什么共同之处。会有学生发现want to 后面接动词原型，这时课件闪烁visit，make，go三个动词，教师总结：want to 后面要接动词原型，如want to play，want to eat.让学生说几个想做什么事的词组。b.教师再问：发现want to有什么变化吗？学生会找到“The UN wants to make peace in the world.”中want加了s。请学生思考为什么。帮助学生总结，主语是第三人称单数形式时，用一般现在时表述想做什么事，动词也要变成第三人称单数形式。如“Amy wants to go to Beijing.”让学生尝试说两句。Step5.
