6、句首，也可以出现在句尾，用来对主句动作提供时间，原因，条件，方式等方面的修饰，或成为主句的结果，从而使主句的动作状态更丰满，语义更完整，语境感更强。大多数情况下，作状语的v-ing形式均可转换为同类型的状语从句或并列句。如：Turning left at the first woods, youll find the path to the foot of the mountain._. 9、2 .Summary :a. v-ing形式作宾语补足语的位置。充当宾语补足语的v-ing形式须紧跟在_之后，因为宾语常在 _ 或者_之后，因此带有v-ing形式作宾语补足的完整结构往往为V+ Object + v-ing或者Prep +_，其中，Object+ Object Complement部分常称为复合宾语或者宾语的复合结构。英语中能接宾语复合结构的动词很有限， 此结构中的V常为：感官动词，如see, watch, notice, find, catch，hear等；使役动词，如have，keep, leave等。， 某些介词也可以加宾语复合结构，如_。b.v-ing形式作宾语补足语的
