3、. Warm-up After greeting, the students clap and chant. Then the teacher leads the students to review the words about drinks. 2. Lead-in The students have a look at a picture of the Dicos. Then the teacher asks, “Do you like Dicos? .Look at the ad. New food and drinks! What food and drinks?” The stud

4、ents name the menu of the Dicos. To go over the words about food and drinks. “Do you like them? OK. Lets go!” 3. Part A. Activity One Role play the conversation between Bill and Joy. (To learn how to serve and how to ask for drinks and food) (1) Lead-in The teacher says, “But how to serve and how to

5、 ask for food and drinks? They can help us. Look, this is, and this is. What are they saying?” (2) Then the students listen to the tape. (3) Role play The students practice the conversation in pairs. Then some volunteers role play the conversation. At last summarize how the waiters serve the custome

6、rs and how the customers ask for food and drinks. Activity Two Having the drinks and food in the Dicos. The teacher and three students have a conversation by using the drinks and the food prepared before the class. The teacher acts as a waiter. The students are the customers.Then the students work i

7、n a team of four. They must use the main sentences on the screen/on the Bb. At the same time they can use the ads in their hands. At last some volunteers perform their conversations. 4. Part B (1) The teacher shows some signs and leads the students to get to know and read the letters. Then the stude

8、nts look and find or point out the letters in the signs. (2) The students look at the letters in the signs and say the letters. (3) The students listen, show and say the related letters. (4) The students listen to the song of AB C and sing all together. (5) Five students choose the cards and say his

9、 or her letter and stand in line in order. And then the whole class read the letters twice. (6) At last the students sing the letter song all together. 5. Read the conversations on P40 altogether. 6. Homework (1) Read the conversation on P40 twice. (2) Collect two signs or words about each letter learned today.
