During the growing time, Heathcliff fell in love with Cathy who is the daughter of old Earnshaw. And Hindley the son of Earnshaw, satirized him and did

2、 disservice to him. Although Cathy deeply loved Heathcliff, she didnt want to give up her luxury lkri life to marry him. Knowing Cathys hesitation, Heathcliff left with sorrow. Cathy married her wealthyneighbor Linton just as everything wasplanned and expected . Many years later, Heathcliff came bac

3、k; he intended to take revenge, because of Cathys defection and Hindleys maltreatment. Different from what he was before, he was than a rich and decent gentleman. He lived in Wuthering Heights. Because of the money he gave to Hindley a drunken poor man. Finally, he possessed the Heights by gambling

4、with Hindley. Then Heathcliff adequately visited Cathys home in order to cause the prejudice of Cathy by getting closed to Isabella-Lintons sister. Isabella was innocent enough to believe that Heathcliff love her, and so that had an argument with Cathy while dinning. Heathcliff won, Cathy couldnt st

5、and any more, and she begged for forgiveness and showed her love to Heathcliff as before. But Heathcliff was always cold. Cathy then because a pregnant, she had Lintons child. So as to meet Heathcliff, she went out in one heavily rainy night, which causes her tragic end. Giving up everything, Cathy

6、just wanted to find Heathcliff, and she did. When Linton got Cathy back together with her was also Heathcliff. In the bed , Cathy begged, Heathcliff not to go just leave her behind. At that night, Heathcliff seduced Isabella, and Cathy gave birth to a baby, her daughter Kathy. Just as above I have s

7、aid, Isabella was innocent enough, after she was seduced, Heathcliff treated her without sympathy. Understanding this, Isabella left Heathcliff and lived alone by herself until she gave birth to Heathcliffs son. Heathcliff one more time got to Wuthering Heights. This time he set to buy, or exactly s

8、peaking to possess Lintons home. Heathcliff adopted Hindleys son and treated him as a father, by giving his care and attention. And also, he brought back his son with Isabella. He required Kathy to marry his son by force. Because when Linton died, everything he owned will became Cathys and then dire

9、ctly to his. Sooner Linton died, and Heathcliffs son was so weak and then died too. Like her mother, Kathy was a lady without laitance. Living with Hindleys son, Kathy gradually loved him. But Heathcliff hated seeing their sitting together and talking. Night after night, Heathcliff also dreamed one

10、dream. In his dream, Cathy said she was lonely, and asked Heathcliff to go with her. When Heathcliff possessed the two Heights and got everything he wanted, he lived in loss. He was often found to be in the bed without one word and got less and less contact with people. One night, blamed by him guil

11、t, Heathcliff died. He was not said to be dead. He was just with Cathy. Theyre just begun to live. This novel written by Emily Bronte attacked the selfishness and social discrimination of that time. It expressed that selfish and revenge cannot live long, only love can be forever. Thats all!
