DINING ETIQUETTEHow to Use Your cutlery:Any food dish on your left is yours.Any drinking glass on your right is yours. Start with the knife, fork or spoon that is furthest from
16、 you and move in as you eat different meals.A good rule to remember is: Start on the outside and work your way inside.Keep your knife in your right hand and fork in your left hand.Rest your cutlery on the side of your plate, not on the table.DINING ETIQUETTEHow to Use Napkins:Take the napkin and pla
17、ce it on your lap. Leave it on your lap until the end of the meal.If you have to leave the table, put the napkin beside your plate.Do not use the napkin to wipe your whole face or nose. Use it to clean food gently off your mouth.When to Start Eating: -Wait until everyone is seated and has their food
18、 before you start eating.DINING ETIQUETTEServing Food:Food is passed and served from the left to the right.Dishes are taken away from the right.Use the serving cutlery to put food from a common dish on your plate.Do not use your own cutlery to put food on your plate. Say please when you want somethi
19、ng to be passed to you such as food or salt and pepper or a sauce.DINING ETIQUETTETable Manners:Do not talk when you have food in your mouth- this is very rude.Cut your food into smaller pieces if it is too big.Do not blow on your food if it is too hot to eat.Wait for your food to cool offDo not hol
