In a recent single year, there were more than 150 thousandforeign students who came to the United States institutions of higher learning. Theywere welcomed and most were successful in their academic stud

Foreign studentswho study in the United States benefit a lot from the educational system of the UnitedStates.Three developments in the United States higher education that the students arebenefiting from today started more than a century ago following the Civil War. The third was the increased provisionfor the education of women. This included the establishment of new womens colleges,such as Vassar, Wellesley and Smith, and the a
