1、人教新课标版Unit 2 The Olympic GamesAn Interview河北承德第一中学 孟志欣一、教学内容分析本单元是高一上册必修2Unit2TheOlympicGames,本话题旨在通过本单元的教学,使学生了解奥运会的起源、宗旨、比赛项目以及古现代奥运会的异同。本节内容是阅读部分,通过一个虚拟的采访-两千年前的古希腊作家pausanias与一位当代中国女孩李燕的对话,向学生介绍了古代和现代奥运会的异同及奥运会的一些基本情况。随着问题的展开,学生对奥运会的了解也越来越全面。文章的这种设计给学生创设了语言情景,把描述竞技体育这一话题的内容变成了生动有趣的对话,让学生有一种身临奇景的
2、真实感受。二、教学目标根据新课程标准关于总目标的具体描述,结合高一学生实际和教材内容,制定相应教学目标:1指导学生归纳整理有关体育和奥运会的词汇,如:ancient,medal,Greece,athlete,stadium,gymnasium等。让学生学会有效的记忆和运用英语词汇。2让学生进一步熟悉,掌握一些阅读技巧,比如skimming(略读):to read something quickly and to find the main facts or ideas in it 主要为了抓住主旨。 scanning(扫读):to examine an area carefully but q
3、uickly, often because you are looking for a particular person or thing,迅速浏览文章找到细节点。Summarizing (归纳总结)3.让学习奥运会的知识,培养学生热爱体育运动。学习更快swifter,更高higher,更强stronger的奥运精神,培养学生团体合作、努力拼博、积极向上的精神。三、教学重点与难点1)比较古代和现代奥运会相同点和不同点。2)讨论和分析申办奥运会所带来的影响。3) 通过任务的完成,掌握阅读技巧,提高阅读能力。四、教学方法:任务型教学法,小组活动,培养学生自主学习技能。五、教学手段:采用多媒体辅助
