15、 he got the first prize.(2)在整个短语前加副词greatly, much 等修饰。如: Much to my surprise the door was unlocked. 2. thanks to 为习语介词,thanks 不可以改为thank you, to后也不接动词原形,这个短语表示原因,意为“由于”“多亏”,to 表示感谢的对象。Thanks to the English language, we can learn a lot from other countries.thanks for是客套用语,thanks 相当于thank you, 意为“因.而感
