5、. 不管你说什么，我决不相信你的话。引导让步状语从句时，从句谓语有时可以用“may+动词原形”代替一般现在时。如： Keep calm, whatever happens may happen. 无论发生什么事都要保持冷静。 Whatever reasons he gives may give, they can only be excuses. 无论他提出什么理由，那只可能是借口。注意：1. 有时还可省略状语从句中的动词be。如：Hell come whatever the weather (is). 无论天气如何，他都会来。The building must be saved, whate

8、管你是谁，我都不会开门。引导让步状语从句时，从句谓语有时可以用“may+动词原形”代替一般现在时。如： Whoever says may say so, it is wrong. 不管谁这样说，那都是错的。注意：whoever的宾格形式在现代英语中仍然是whoever，通常不用whomever。如： Tell whoever you likeit makes no difference to me. 你愿意告诉谁就告诉谁对我来说都无所谓。四、whenever引导的两类状语从句引导让步状语从句引导让步状语从句，表示“无论何时”，相当于 at whatever time, no matter wh

9、en等。如： Whenever I see him, hes reading. 我无论什么时候看到他，他都在看书。 Whenever I go to London I try to see Vieky. 我什么时候去伦敦，都设法去看看维基。 Whenever you come, you are welcome. 你什么时候来，我们都欢迎。引导时间状语从句引导时间状语从句，表示“每当”“一就”，与when用法相似，但语气更强。如： The roof leaks whenever it rains. 这屋顶一下雨就漏。 I go to the theatre whenever I get the

10、chance. 一有机会我就去看戏。 Whenever I mention playing football, he says hes too busy. 我一跟他提踢足球的事, 他就说太忙。从句主语和谓语有时可以有所省略。如： Whenever (it is) possible, he goes to see her. 只要有可能，他就去看她。 Robbie had arranged for this man to come whenever needed. 罗比安排好，随时需要这人就可以来。五、wherever引导的两类状语从句引导地点状语从句引导地点状语从句，表示“在的任何（所有）地方”

12、prices. 哪里有高工资，哪里一般就有高物价。Youll be recognized by others wherever you go, which is the price you pay for being famous. 不管你走到哪里，都会被人认出来,这就是你出名所付出的代价。从句谓语有时可以用“may+动词原形”代替一般现在时。如： Ill find him, wherever he is may be. 无论他在哪里，我都要找到他。下句中的wherever possible 与 whenever possible 同义Wherever possible the jobs are given to local people. 只要有可能就把工作提供给当地人。
