1、2022年加拿大留学生就业新政策加拿大移民部部长在4月18日宣布了有关留学生在加拿大工作政策的最新确定：1)在公立高校和学院学习的留学生，在学习期间，可在校内外打工(以前是只能在校与内工作)。2)留学生在加拿大高校完成学位后，可在加拿大合法工作两年(以前是一年)。3)留学生从一所加拿大高校和学院转到另一所加拿大高校和学院，不再须要重新申请学生签证。4)在中学读书的留学生，可获得比以前更长的学生签证。现将移民部的网站上原文传载如下:MOREREASONSFORINTERNATIONALSTUDENTSTOCHOOSECANADAOTTAWA,April18,2022TheHonourableJo

3、dingtwopilotinitiativestohelpmakeCanadaadestinationofchoiceforinternationalstudents.Thefirstwillallowinternationalstudentsatpublicpost-secondaryinstitutionstoworkoff-campuswhilecompletingtheirstudiessothattheycanexperiencetheCanadianlabourmarketandgainawiderunderstandingofCanadiansociety.Thesecondwi

4、llallowstudentstoworkfortwoyears,ratherthanoneyear,aftertheirgraduation.Thissecondinitiativewillapplyoutsid eMontral,TorontoandVancouvertohelpspreadthebenefitsofimmigrationtomoreofCanadasregions.ThroughpastpilotprojectsandagreementswithCIC,someprovinceshavealreadyexperiencedthesuccessoftheinitiative

5、s,whicharenowbeingexpandedthroughoutCanada.TheGovernmentofCanadaisinvesting$10millionayearforfiveyearstosupportthisannouncement.“WehavebeenlisteningtoourstakeholdersandarecertainthattheseinitiativeswillhelpincreasetheglobalcompetitivenessofCanadabyattractingandretainingmoreinternationalstudentst

6、oourschools,”saidMinisterVolpe.“InternationalStudentswhochoosetostayinCanadaaftertheygraduategreatlycontributetoourlabourmarket.ItisimportantthattheybeexposedtotheCanadianworkforceatanearlystagetoincreasetheirchancesofsuccessfollowinggraduation.”“WhethertheychoosetostayinCanadaorreturntotheirhomecou

7、ntry,theywillhaveacquiredCanadianexperienceandvaluesthatwillenrichtheirlives.Theywillalsospreadthewordaboutthequalityofeducation&n bsp;Canadahastooffer,”addedtheMinister.CIChasalsomadeotheradjustmentstoitsinternationalstudyprogram.Forexample:Post-secondaryinternationalstudentscannowtransferbetweenpr

8、ogramsofstudyandinstitutionswithoutapplyingforachangetotheconditionsoftheirstudypermit.Secondary-levelinternationalstudentscannowobtainlongerhigh-schoolstudypermits.AsofMay16,2022,internationalstudentswhomeettheeligibilitycriteriaforasecondyearofpost-graduationemploymentwillbeissuedatwo-yearworkperm
