On the other hand, those who often change jobs may be seen as unreliable and lacking in experience, thus employers might be reluctant to hire and invest
5、in training them. However, there are arguments in favor of changing jobs frequently. On is that a worker improves his employability. Working in several different jobs often means that the individual has more skills. Such people are seen as more dynamic and versatile. Another benefit of changing jobs
6、 frequently is that one never gets stuck in a rut. From my own experience, I got bored if I spent too long in a job. Following this, the quality of my work would suffer. I also believe that employers generally dont tend to greatly reward loyalty or commitment. Increased wages and promotion are easie
7、r to attain by changing jobs. Overall, it can be said that the disadvantages of changing jobs are the advantages of staying put, and vice versa. In my opinion, changing jobs every once in a while is of more benefit. 2). The Advantages and Disadvantages of Living in the CityLike many other city dwell
8、ers, I often complain about having to cope with the problems related with city life. I sometimes fancy getting closer to nature and appreciating its beauty fully in the country. Once a friend asked me, “Do you really hate life in the city that much? If you had a choice, would you move away to the co
9、untry?” I compelled myself to think about city life more seriously. Now I have to do justice to it. Admittedly, the attractions of city life still appeal to me strongly despite its drawbacks.In general, city life is relatively convenient and comfortable. The supply of water and electricity is contin

There is also a variety of vehicles for transportation, form buses and cars to trains and planes, that help people move about efficiently. Shopping centers are seen and there in cities. Thanks to the amazing
11、 diversity of commodities, going shopping is often interesting and enjoyable for city dwellers. Besides the fun of making purchases, there are also countless theaters, cinemas, art galleries and restaurants providing residents with various kinds of fascinating entertainment.However, life in the city
12、 is not always attractive and pleasant. Sometimes it could be very frustrating. Most city dwellers have had the terrible experience of getting stuck in a traffic jam during the rush hour. Pollution either in the air or water is nothing new. The sun is often blotted out by the dust and dirt floating
13、in the air. As city dwellers live in a forest of concrete buildings, they see little of the beautiful nature. They have to be content with the flowers and trees in the few parks scattered in the city. Everyday, people move in hurried steps, looking worn and exhausted. They are busy, scurrying from p

Disagreement on many topics between people of different generations results in diffic

For example, some parents expect their children to share their views, yet the values the younger generation holds vary greatly differently from those accepted by the older generation. Therefore, communication between generations declines because of the lack of understanding. Altho

Honestly, I didnt like it, but many persons whom I lived with kept telling me every day how good it was. Since the peer pressure was growing, I decided to go to the gym.
27、It wasnt until then that I could really understand people when they said exercise really helped a person get organized and keep healthy, physically and mentally.For starters, if you are a lazy person, it is difficult to take the first step. But it is all a matter of committing yourself to something
28、that will provide you with much positive feedback. Once you start exercising and observing positive results, you will actually enjoy it. It takes much effort and a strong will, but its worth it. The principal thing to do is to take up a sport you like. If you do, you will start organizing your day i

What Dangers Should Young People Guard against When They Leave School?Education may have succeeded in equipping youths with skills and the relevant knowledge for the working world but not necessarily in all aspects concerned. Young people who have graduated from their schools are often
35、filled with feelings towards the future. How should they handle responsibilities, relationship problems, and fearful and uncertain moments along the way?One of the dangers young people should guard against is in the aspect of submitting to peer-pressure. This can be a very powerful force that makes
36、one conform and adopt the standard and lifestyle of ones peers. In the desire to identify with their peers and be accepted by them some youths have succumbed of bad habits such as smoking and drinking. There are also those who gradually become grumblers, glue sniffers and drug addicts, all because o
37、f the influence of bad company. Another wrong mentality is the measure of success in life. It is not always true that the possession of wealth brings joy and contentment in life. Many have neglected their health to gain wealth and subsequently use much of their wealth to regain health. Many have pai
38、d high prizes for the present wealth attained; they have neglected friends and family and have lost opportunities to spend precious moments with people around them. Besides, many have lost the peace within them and are often discontented, wanting to have more and more of everything. Thus, it is impo
39、rtant for young people to prepare themselves before plunging headlong into the working world. They must develop good, practical and sound principles that can guide them in making decisions and in striking good counsel from individuals who have respectable and admirable approaches to life. Of course,

In my opinion, such education, tedious as it may be, should never be overlooked for the usefulness of it will be proven so in the working world. 6). How to Stop Corruption in Government Bodies?Now
41、adays, nothing in government bodies comes close to corruption that brings ruin upon our Partys image in the peoples minds. For this very reason, many people of insight have come up with some tentative proposals, among which two draw widespread attention throughout the country. Some suggest that our
42、Party nourish honesty in government departments by raising civil servants salaries by a wide margin. Of this move will come much good on the side of an official: a fuller sense of his duties, a better resistance to lure of bribes, and a less embarrassment of being hard up on a formal occasion. And e
43、ven more, this move will much reduce the chances of an officials exploiting his office for the material interests of his family members. But as bribery comes in more and more names, how much increase in salary can the government afford to curb an officials desire for any dishonest earnings, in addit
44、ion to bearing the burden of supporting millions of workers who have been laid off? Therefore, others hold that our Party ought to perfect mechanisms of supervision, under which any official is restrained in exercising his functions and power. With the mechanisms becoming more and more effective, mo
45、st officials will impose more self-restraint on the performance of their duties while some dishonest ones will get well-learned punishment. Yet, no matter how perfect, any supervision can not ensure every official against corruption. As neither of the two proposals is effective enough to root up the
46、 cause of ruin on government machinery, I favor fruitful interpenetrating of each others advantages. While encouraging qualified officials to devote more to the people by giving a proper increase in salary, our Party must reinforce efficient supervision over some functional agencies. I am fully conf
