2、rnational Chamber of CommerceThe International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is the largest, most representative business organization in the world. Its hundreds of thousands of member companies in over 130 countries have interests spanning every sector of private enterprise.The International Chamber of

3、 Commerce was founded in 1919 to serve world business by promoting trade and investment, open markets for goods and services, and the free flow of capital. The organizations international secretariat was established in Paris and the ICCs International Court of Arbitration was created in 1923.Governi

4、ng bodiesWorld CouncilICC s supreme governing body is the World Council, consisting of representatives of national committees. The World Council elects ICCs highest officers, including the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman, each of whom serves a two-year term. The Chairman, Vice-Chairman and the Honora

5、ry Chairman (the immediate past Chairman) provide the organization with high-level world leadership.Executive BoardStrategic direction for ICC is provided by its Executive Board, consisting of up to 30 business leaders and ex-officio members. It is elected by the World Council on the recommendation

6、of the Chairmanship. Meeting three times a year, the Executive Board oversees the establishment of ICCs strategic priorities and the implementation of its policies.International SecretariatThe ICC International Secretariat, based in Paris, is the operational arm of ICC. It develops and carries out I

7、CCs work programme, feeding business views into intergovernmental organizations on issues that directly affect business operations. The International Secretariat is led by the Secretary General, who is appointed by the World Council.National CommitteesIn 90 of the worlds nations, members have establ

8、ished formal ICC structures called national committees. In countries where there is no national committee, companies and organizations such as chambers of commerce and professional associations can become direct members.Finance CommitteeThe Finance Committee advises the Executive Board on all financ

9、ial matters. On behalf of the Executive Board, it prepares the budget and regularly reports to the board. 10、he Interpretation of Trade Terms)To provide a set of uniform rules for the interpretation of the most commonly used trade terms in foreign tradeIncoterms or international commercial terms are a series of international sales terms, published by International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and widely used

11、in international commercial transactions. They are used to divide transaction costs and responsibilities between buyer and seller and reflect state-of-the-art transportation practices. They closely correspond to the U.N. Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The first version

This term is suitable for all modes of transport

24、, including carriage by air, rail, road, and containerized / multi-modal transport. 是指卖方只要将货物在指定的地点交给买方指定的承运人，并办理了出口清关手续，即完成交货。需要说明的是，交货地点的选择对于在该地点装货和卸货的义务会产生影响。若卖方在其所在地交货，则卖方应负责装货，若卖方在任何其他地点交货，卖方不负责卸货。 该术语可用于各种运输方式，包括多式联运。若买方指定承运人以外的人领取货物，则当卖方将货物交给此人时，即视为已履行了交货义务。卖方必须自当风险和费用，取得任何出口许可证或其他官方许可，并在需要办理
