1、-PEP小学英语四年级下册Unit 3 Weather B Lets learn教学设计-第 10 页PEP小学英语四年级下册Unit 3 Weather B Lets learn 教学设计一、 教材分析:本单元的话题为Weather, 本课是B部分的词汇课。学生在A部分已经学习了warm、cool、hot和cold这四个表示天气的单词。B部分也已经学习了Whats the weather like in? Its句型。在此基础上,本课以世界天气预报这一情境为依托,继续学习表示天气的单词:rainy, sunny, cloudy, snowy, windy. 并与著名城市名称相结合,扩大了学生
2、的词汇量,拓展了学生的视野。Lets play部分通过学生抽卡片游戏巩固所学词汇,为学生正确、熟练地用英语表达天气打下良好基础。二、 学情分析: 四年级的学生已经学习了一年多的英语,掌握了一定的语音语调基础,具备了一定的自然拼读能力,孩子们的思维能力进一步提高,能够积极地参与课堂活动。课堂上,教师要注意渗透字母和字母组合的发音,启发学生善于发现单词中的规律,从而让让学生形成科学有效的学习策略。三、 教学目标1.知识目标:(1)能在教师的引导下在情境中理解并听、说、认读五个描述天气的单词:rainy, sunny, cloudy, snowy, windy.(2)能够在情境中感知、理解world
3、, Sydny, London, Moscow,Singapore的意思并能正确发音。 (3) 能够发现五个形容词的构词规律,即末尾有字母y, 发/i/音。2.能力目标:(1)能够在情境中正确运用这五个单词rainy, sunny, cloudy, snowy, windy.(2)能够熟练地运用句子:Whats the weather like in Sydney? Its hot and sunny. Today its hot and sunny in Sydney.询问或描述天气情况。(3)能够运用表示天气的形容词完成天气预报员的播报工作。3.情感、态度、文化目标:(1)乐于开口用英语表
4、达、谈论天气。(2)了解天气变化对人们日常生活的影响,关心天气的不同,能够根据天气变化更换衣服。四、教学重、难点:1.重点:听、说、认读五个天气单词rainy, sunny, cloudy, snowy, windy。2.难点:结合天气和世界城市名称的表达及snowy的发音。五、教学设计:Step1.Preparation (PPT出现歌曲weather song。)1. Review the wordsT:Hello, boys and girls.nice to meet you!How are you?In this class, If you do well, you can get
5、a weather sign for your group. At last let me see: which group is the winner?Before class,lets sing a beautiful song.T: A nice song, whats the song about? PPT:WEATHER. Whats the weather like today? Its指生说。(PPT出现John和家人。)He has a happy family. They live in Beijing, a beautiful city. Whats the weather
6、 like in Beijing? (PPT出示25页天气预报图。) 师接着问Whats the weather like in Lhasa/Harbin/Hong Kong? 指生答Its .2. Chant: T: Now lets chant! PPT:Hot , hot , its hot in Hong kong.Cold , cold , its cold in Harbin.Cool , cool , its cool in Lhasa.Warm , warm,its warm in Beijing. (设计意图:通过欣赏歌曲导、引入本课主题WEATHER. 然后介绍John一家
7、居住在北京并且谈论北京的天气开启学生的知识储备,为学生学习新内容做铺垫。)Step2 Presentation(一)呈现单词1.Learn: “windy”(1)师接chant最后一句:Its warm in Beijing.(PPT:出示北京春天的图片。)Its warm and windy in Beijing. (PPT:北京windy图片,单词)师先让PPT领读2遍,然后出示windy的图片领读2遍,将图片贴在黑板上板书并领读。师出示词卡让学生组读、个读并纠音。 (2)师指PPT上的温度说,its 20degrees.its warm and windy in Beijing。领读2遍
8、。评价:Good! Super!2.Learn: “sunny”(1)T:Its warm and windy in Beijing. Its a good time for travel. Johns father is a going on a big trip. Where will he go? (PPT:出示世界地图。) This is a world map.领读world.(2)T: First station, he is going to Sydney. This is Sydneys Opera House. Its very famous in the world. T:
9、 Look! (PPT:主情景图Johns father is packing. His mother is watching the world weather,接着出Look! Heres the world weather.领读。Johns father cares about the weather.So he asks Johns mother a question: Whats the weather like in Sydney?T: Whats the weather like in Sydney? Please watch, listen and answer(学生观看本课视
10、频,回答问题。)PPT天气预报图,出示sunny, PPT领读,师拿sunny图片领读,贴黑板并板书。师拿词卡学生小老师读,个读。然后师说:Its 30degrees, Its hot. So his mother says :Its hot and sunny.师领读一遍Its hot and sunny in Sydney. 练习句型:Whats the weather like in Sydney? Its hot and sunny. Now Im Johns father. You are his mother.
