1、-be about to & be to do辨析-第 3 页be about to do指马上就要进行的动作,也就是非常近的将来.往往不与表示将来的时间状语连用,但是与when引导的时间状语从句连用,表示正打算做什么事情的时候突然发生了一件由 when引导的动作的事情.但是be to do 一般表示实现计划好,打算好要去做的事,可以和具体的将来时间搭配. be to do sth.结构除了表示将来计划的事情、动作外，还可以表示责任与义务、动词不定式说明主语具体内容、较强的可能性和虚拟语气的假设。具体参加例句： 1）说明主语的具体内容 i) Her job is to look after t
